sanlight EVO Series M-Dimmer

By purchasing the SANlight M-Dimmer, you have decided on an optimal addition to your EVO-series LED light, which will give you great pleasure. Please read these operating instructions carefully before connecting or starting up the M-Dimmer. Improper use can damage the light or cause harm to people/animals/plants. If the M-Dimmer is not used properly, all warranty claims and the manufacturer‘s product liability expire.

The scope of delivery includes:

  • 1 x M-Dimmer
  • 1 x Magnetic clip

ATTENTION: only for LED lights of the EVO-series
This M-Dimmer is only suitable for operation on the following with the EVO- series models: EVO 3-60, EVO 3-80, EVO 3-100, EVO 4-80, EVO 4-100, EVO 4-120, EVO 5-100, EVO 5-120, EVO 5-150.
Never connect to lights with daisy chain output! Never connect to other cables/distributors.

Commissioning

The M-Dimmer connection is colour coded. Connect the M-Dimmer (blue socket) with the blue three-pin socket of the LED light.
Note: since the M-Dimmer can be set using a magnet, there should be no external magnetic fields in its vicinity. A minimum distance to mains cables of 30 cm is recommended.sanlight EVO Series M-Dimmer

The M-Dimmer is supplied by the LED light and is only active if the LED light is also switched on. 2 different functions of the M-Dimmer can be set with the magnetic clip. To do this, hold the respective side of the clip approximately to the middle of the dimmer. Dimmer temperature range: 0 – 70°C Supply +12V DC via LED light, max. 20mA, never connect to 230V AC.

Attention Magnetic Field: although the magnetic field of the magnetic clip is relatively weak, it can disturb or damage sensitive devices, e.g. the magnetic strip on credit cards. The magnetic clip contains an extremely robust ferrite magnet. It is insensitive to high temperatures.
