Connecting the speakers
- Connect the speakers with the included speaker cable, see the illustration below. Make sure to connect the red wire to the red port and the silver wire to the black port.
- Connect the DC adapter to the DC port and a wall outlet. The LED indicator turns on.
- Use the Mode button (1) to turn the speakers on and off. Press one time to turn them on and press and hold for 3 seconds to turn them off.
Line in input
- 1. Press the Mode button (1) to select a Line-in input. The indicator turns light blue for Line in 1 and orange for Line in 2.
- Use the appropriate RCA cable to connect an audio source to the speakers. If you have chosen Line in 1 and the indicator is light blue, connect the RCA cable to Line in 1 (4). If you have chosen Line in 2 and the indicator is orange, connect the RCA cable to Line in 2 (5).
- Play music from your connected device and adjust the volume on your device or by turning the Mode button (1 ).
Bluetooth pairing Press the Mode button (1) to turn on the speakers.
Press the same button again until the indicator starts flashing blue to
activate Bluetooth mode.
Activate Bluetooth on your Bluetooth device. Look for “Nikabe S4” and connect.
The indicator turns to a steady blue light when the connection is successful.
Play music from your Bluetooth device and adjust the volume with either the
Mode button (1) or the Bluetooth device. Disconnect the Bluetooth device by
pressing the Mode button (1) twice.
Troubleshooting
Problem
- There is no sound.
- Cannot connect with Bluetooth.
Solution
- Make sure the LED indicator is on. Try to turn on the volume on the master speaker. Make sure the speaker and audio cables are connected correctly and that the input source is set correctly. Check if there is a signal output from your connected device.
- Make sure that the Bluetooth mode is activated on the speaker. The indicator should be flashing blue. Double press the Mode button (1) to make sure the speaker is not connected to another Bluetooth device. Try to connect again.
Safety information
Read the instructions in the manual and on the units before use to avoid a hazard. Use with provided power adapter only. Do not place any open flame sources, such as lit candles, on or near the speakers. Do not attempt to service or disassemble the units yourself. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified personnel in order to avoid a hazard. Unplug the speaker from power supply during lightning storms. Never insert any objects into the speakers, as you could then touch dangerous voltage points or short-circuit parts that could lead to fire or electric shock. Make sure that objects do not fall on the speakers and that liquid is not spilled on the speakers.
