Installation

  1. Choose where to mount the speaker. Make sure that there are no power cables, beams, or anything else behind the ceiling that could be damaged. Route the wires to the location you wish to install the speaker. Carefully measure and draw a circle, 203 mm in diameter. Use the cutting template when marking the circle.
  2. Double-check the measurement and cut the measured circle out with a jigsaw, pad saw, or another suitable tool. The mounting depth is 90 mm.
  3. Set the treble equalizer (1) at -3 dB, 0, or +3 dB to adapt the sound to your personal taste. For a clearer sound suitable for podcasts or audiobooks, set the switch to +3 dB. For a sound more suitable for background music, set the switch to 0 or -3 dB.
  4. Remove the grille from the speaker. Connect the speaker wires to the speaker. Connect the red (+) cable to the red (+) input (2) and connect the black (-) cable to the black (-) input (3). 5. Place the speaker inside the hole. Make sure the four fixing clamps (4) stay inwards. When the speaker is in place, screw the four fixing clamps outwards and fasten the speaker firmly.
  5. Push the magnetic grille onto the speaker by applying even pressure around the rim.
