  • Electrical devices may only be mounted and connected by electrically skilled persons.
  • Serious injuries, fire or property damage possible.
  • Please read and follow manual fully.
  • DANGER! Electrical shocks when live parts are touched can be fatal.
  • DANGER! Risk of fire when wrongly installed.
  • DANGER! Mortal danger of electric shock.
  • Before working on the device or performing an installation, disconnect all the corresponding circuit breakers. Cover up live parts!
  • Maintenance work, e.g. exchanging batteries, may only be carried out by an electrically skilled person.Even a lamp that is visibly switched off is permanently supplied with mains voltage. Switch off the circuit breaker before replacing the lamp, or battery.
  • The lamp that is controlled by this product is still supplied with mains voltage.
  • This product itself is not connected to mains voltage.
  • Always check local legislation on use of the product as local regulations could forbid the use in certain setup situations.
  • Installation in United States requires a minimum of one light switch in a room/lightpoint must be able to physically disconnect the power.
  • During installation and cable routing, comply with the regulations and standards which apply for SELV circuits.
  • Do NOT input mains voltage. This product is supplied with a battery.
  • The supplied wire nut needs to connect the lamp to the mains power.
  • The radio communication takes place via a non-exclusively available transmission path, and is therefore not suitable for safety-related applications, such as emergency stop and emergency call.
  • These instructions are an integral part of the product, and must remain with the end customer.
  • Ensure always to install the product according to the local electrical code. Perchlorate Material – special handling may apply

WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS:

  • Keep away from liquids and humidity.
  • The product is for indoor use only.
  • Do not use in wet locations, areas directly exposed to water or outdoors.
  • This product is not a toy designed to be played with by children.
  • Do not place on hot surfaces.
  • For safety reasons and under the terms of the warranty, none of the enclosed devices should be opened.
  • Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect replacement.
  • Batteries should be installed by an adult.
  • Different types of batteries and new and used batteries must not be mixed. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
  • The supply terminals must not be short-circuited.
  • Do not use rechargeable batteries.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged.
  • Exhausted batteries must be removed from the product.
  • Remove batteries when product is not in use for some time.
  • CAUTION: Do not ingest battery – Chemical burn hazard. This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just two hours and can lead to death.
  • Keep new and used batteries away from children.
  • If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
  • If you think that batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
