Safety and Certifications
Important Information about the Sagemcom “F©ST3890V3 LLA”:
Installation and Safe Usage Instructions:
- Place the router in a vertical orientation on a flat surface.
- Connect the manufacturer-supplied AC to the DC power adapter. The F©ST3890V3 LLA router requires the use of a 12VDC, 3.5A power Only uses a manufacturer-supplied and approved power adapter and Ethernet cable.
- Connect the “F©ST3890V3 LLA” to the AC mains in accordance with the installation instructions in this and the markings on the identification label (voltage, current, and frequency of electricity network).
- Connect a coaxial cable to the port labeled ‘COAX’ on one end and to a working cable wall outlet or splitter on the other end.
- For connection of a computer with an Ethernet cable using one of the RJ45 ports on the product marked “V. “T. ‘3’. or “4”. Then connect the other end of the Ethernet Cable to the Ethernet port of a computer. Repeat as necessary with the other available Ethernet ports.
When using this device, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons including the following:
- Do not use this product near water and avoid contact with moisture. For example, does not use near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near swimming, Care should be taken so that liquids are not spilled on this equipment.

for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses,

accordance with the instructions. may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful

FCC Radiation Exposure Statement
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an
uncontrolled environment. This transmitter must not be co-located or operating
in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. This device produces
radiofrequency energy in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz spectrum. The antenna must be
positioned to keep a minimum distance of 22cm (0.72ft) from the radiating
element to any nearby person.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The device for operation in the band 5150-5250 MHz is only for indoor use to
reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel mobile satellite
systems.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate this equipment.
For product available in the USA market, only channel 1-11 can be operated.
Selection of other channels is not possible. This device is restricted for
indoor use.
North American Cable Installer: This reminder is provided to call your attention to Article 820.93 of the National Electrical Code (Section 54 of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part 1) which provides guidelines for proper grounding and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the building as close to the point of cable entry as practical.
