SALSIFY IND377 Lumination Montage Rough-In Kit

Prepare Electrical Wiring
Electrical Requirements
- The LED driver must be supplied with 120 or 277V, 50/60 Hz, and connected to an individual properly grounded branch circuit, protected by a 20-ampere circuit breaker. Use min. 75°C supply conductor.
Grounding Instructions
- The grounding and bonding of the overall system shall be done in accordance with National Electric Code (NEC) Article 600 and local codes.
Unit Installation
Tile Ceiling (above ceiling access after installation)
- Cut the appropriately sized hole (see table at the right) in the desired ceiling tile. Place the ceiling tile in the ceiling grid.

- Slide hanger bars through the adjustable mounting brackets on the rough-in kit.
- Mount Rough-in-Kit by attaching the hanger bars to the T-Grid ceiling.
- If necessary, the height of the adjustable mounting brackets can be adjusted by loosening the nut so that the bottom of the rough-in kit is flush with the top of the ceiling tile.

Wiring Instructions

Bring supply leads and ground to the junction box supplied on the Rough-in Kit. Be sure to connect leads to existing wire connectors to ensure the proper function of the thermal protector and fixture.
Must use UL-approved conduit fittings for all enclosure box connections to prevent wire cuts by sharp edges and excessive strain on wiring. -
Install listed electrical fittings in the knockout holes for wire protection. Connect the AC line to the luminaire internal wires according to the wiring diagrams using 18-14AWG twist-on wire connectors.
