INTRODUCTION

Polk True Surround III, which combines a sound bar, a wireless subwoofer, and L & R surround speakers for immersive audio and deep bass without the clutter of speaker cords, will improve your typical home theatre experience.

The sound bar has a performance-tuned driver array with two 1.75″ x 4.5″ full- range drivers, two 3/4″ tweeters, one 2.75″ full-range driver for each surround, and a 7″ woofer for the wireless sub.

Pair your compatible iOS or Android devices with the built-in Bluetooth to stream music wirelessly from your collection or from well-known streaming services. Providing flexible connectivity includes an HDMI ARC, an Aux, and an Optical Input. Use the provided connection to connect the sound bar to almost any TV, and then use a few buttons to synchronize the surround speakers and subwoofer with the sound bar. How to use the Polk True Surround III Channel Wireless Sound System

  1. Connect the HDMI cable that is provided to the “ARC”-labeled HDMI jacks on the TV and sound bar. Connect the TV and sound bar with the provided Optical cable. Use the provided HDMI cable to connect the sound bar’s “TV ARC” connector and any accessible HDMI jack on the TV. the sound bar’s location
  2. Place the sound bar directly beneath your TV in the center for the greatest listening experience.
  3. Connect the sound bar to an electrical outlet. A flickering orange light will be visible on the front during initialization.
  4. Place the subwoofer as the same wall as TV. Place the TV no more than 30 feet (10 meters) from the bar for optimal results.
  5. Connect subwoofer to an AC outlet. The subwoofer’s rear will display a solid green light to show that it is connected to the sound bar.
  6. Place the surround speakers equally spaced out from the primary listening location, on the left and right sides. Make sure to position the “L” speaker on the left and the “R” speaker on the right.
  7. Connect the surrounds to an AC outlet. There will be a green light that flashes on the rear of the surroundings.
  8. Check that you can see video and hear sound from the sound bar by turning on your TV. Press the power button on the sound bar to turn it on if you can’t hear any sound coming from it or see any lights on the front.

Can you play stereo music through the surround speakers?

A surround effect will be played on the surround speakers. The rear speakers will turn on and handle the applied surround effect if a stereo source is playing and a surround mode has been selected.

Does this still function if I don’t have WiFi?

RF signals are used by the soundbar to communicate with the surround speakers and wireless subwoofer. There is no need for Wi-Fi.

Can you turn off Alexa?

Alexa is pre-installed on Polk Audio soundbar, however it can be turned off by turning off the microphone.

How far does the sound bar extend?

Can you install the satellite speakers on a wall?

Is Atmos supported by this?

Atmos cannot be supported by the Polk Audio True Surround III. Please think about the Polk Audio Signa S4 Soundbar if you need Atmos support.

Will Roku Ultra support this?

Yes. Regardless of the source being used, the Roku Ultra receives the audio input from the TV. If your TV is a 4K capable model, Roku Ultra will connect to it and send sound through the TV’s ARC (or eARC) HDMI port to your Polk true Surround system.

How long are the surround speaker wires?

Can you upgrade this system with speakers?

There can’t be any more speakers added.

Can audio from a phone or tablet be streamed via Bluetooth without a TV connection?

Yes, it is feasible to stream music from a smart device without a TV.

Can the TV remote be used to control these speakers?

Will the subwoofer sound nice or better on some form of hard wood if you place it there?

A corner might work well for the wireless subwoofer. Generally speaking, corner placement will produce a deeper bass effect. The outcome should be the same whether the system is installed on the first floor or on a concrete foundation, depending on the material used. Try setting the sub on a piece of solid material if it is being placed on a second floor or a no concrete foundation.

Are the rear speakers wireless?

The Polk True Surround III system has wireless surround speakers, thus the answer is yes.
