Disabling the Child Lock Feature
Instructions for the following base models:
Ease 3.0
Ergo Power Base | Ergo Smart Base with Sleeptracker
Ergo Extend 1.0 | Ergo Extend Smart Base with Sleeptracker
(remote serial number beginning with 680012)
Before you begin, please ensure your remote has fresh batteries.
Child Lock Removal
Press and hold HEAD DOWN and FOOT DOWN buttons together for approximately
three (3) seconds. Then hold HEAD UP and FOOT UP for approximately 3 seconds.
The remote backlight will flash twice. When the backlight light goes away, the
remote is no longer in Child Lock. The remote and adjustable base will work
normally.
At times the remotes can get stuck in a limbo state between locked and
unlocked. In that event please use the Activate Lock steps below, then repeat
the Deactivation Steps.
Child Lock Activation
Press and hold HEAD UP and FOOT UP buttons together for approximately three
(3) seconds. The remote backlight will flash twice. When the backlight light
goes away, the remote is now in Child Lock. Pressing any buttons while in
Child Lock will yield no movement to your adjustable base.
