Important safety notes
WARNING
- The device is only intended for domestic/private use, not for commercial use.
- This device may be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the device safely, and are fully aware of the consequent risks of use.
- Children must not play with the device.
- Under no circumstances should you open or repair the device yourself, as correct functioning of the device can no longer be guaranteed should you do so. Failure to observe this will invalidate the warranty.
- Protect device from moisture. Never submerge the device in water.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless super -vised.

Measures for handling batteries
- If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery fluid, wash the affected area with water and seek medical assistance.
- Choking hazard! Small children may swallow and choke on batteries. Therefore, batteries should be stored out of the reach of small children.
- If a battery has leaked, put on protective gloves and clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
- Protect batteries from excessive heat.
- Risk of explosion! Do not throw batteries into a fire.
- Do not charge or short-circuit the batteries.
- If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries from the battery compartment.
- Use identical or equivalent battery types only.
- Always replace all batteries at the same time.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries.
- Do not disassemble, open or crush the batteries.

Usage
Inserting the battery
Before using the device for the first time, you must first insert the supplied battery into the device. The device can be operated at full power for 60 minutes with a full battery (1.5 V AA battery). To insert the battery, proceed as follows:

Open the battery compartment lid (see illustration ).

Insert the AA battery (1.5 V) supplied with the device into the battery compartment.
Be sure to insert the battery with the correct polarity as indicated in the battery compartment (see illustration ). -
Fully close the battery compartment lid again (see illustration )
Removing facial hair

Pull off the protective cap upwards ( see illustration ).

To switch on the device, slide the ON/OFF switch upwards (see illustration ).

To remove facial hair, gently move the shaver attachment 1 over the desired area of the face in circular motions (see illustration ).
To remove nose and ear hair and shape eyebrows, switch the attachment as shown in illustration . -
Guide attachment for nose/ear hair/eyebrows 5 slowly and not too deep into nose or ear, or use to shape eyebrows (see illustration ).

To switch off the device, slide the ON/OFF switch 3 down.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Remove the shaver attachment or attachment for nose/ear hair/eyebrows from the device before cleaning (see illustration ).
- Roughly remove the shaved hair on the device and attachments with your finger or with a soft, lint-free cloth. With regard to the attachment for nose/ear hair/ eyebrows, the shear clamp can be removed for better cleaning (see illustration ). Be careful not to cut yourself on the sharp blades
- Then clean the shaver attachment or attachment for nose/ear hair/eyebrows under running water after each use.
- Leave the shaver attachment or attachment for nose/ear hair/eyebrows to dry completely before you reattach it to the device.

Disposal
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in household waste at the end of its service life. Dispose of the device at a suitable collection point in your country. Dispose of the device in accordance with the EC Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.
Batteries must not be disposed of in the household waste. They may contain
poisonous heavy metals and are subject to special refuse treatment.
