FIG-2

First, measure the hight of the cat. This is usually 100-150 mm.
Please note: This will be the bottom of the hole and the flap frame will be lower. If neccessary, this line might have to be raised to account for this. For more than one cat, fit the cap flap based on the measurement of the smallest cat to prevent injuty to any of the cats. Important! Fitting the cat flap at an incorrect height could cause injury to the cat.

2:2 In doors

The cat flap requires a rectangle cut out of wood/plastic of 155 mm x 160 mm, making sure the bottom of the rectangle is level with the line you drew.

2:3 In glas

The cat flap requires a circular cut-out with diameter of 220 mm. Please make sure that the bottom of the circle is lower than the line you drew.
Please note! It is not possible to cut holes in toughened glass or double glazed. For best result consult a glazier.

  1. Temporarily place the cat flap in the hole and position the outside cover on the outside of the house.
  2. From the outside mark screw holes in the outside cover (A).
  3. Remove the cat flap and drill holes with a 3,5 mm drill bit (B).
  4. Replace the cat flap in the hole and from the outside screw into place.
  5. The screws should go through the door and into the screw holes on the back of the inside part of the cat flap.

Please note: The depths of some doors vary. You may need to purchase different screws to fit the door better without damaging the cat flap.
