SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Do not use or place the product near electric motors or magnets, or other places where it can be exposed to a magnetic field.
  • Do not expose the product to extreme (high or low) temperatures. The product is intended to be used at ambient temperatures of o to 60°C. High temperatures can reduce the life span of the electronics and very high or very low temperatures can reduce the life span of the battery and damage the plastic parts on the product.
  • Format the memory card in the product before using it for the first time, either in the product settings menu or in a computer, to reduce the risk of the product or the memory card malfunctioning. The memory card should be formatted at regular intervals to reduce the risk of the product or the memory card malfunctioning.
  • If the product has been dusted with sand, carefully blow off the sand and then wipe it with a soft cloth.

NOTE:

  • Make sure that no water or sand gets into the product. Water, grains of sand and salty dust can damage the product.
  •  Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid – the casing is water­resistant, but not waterproof.

USE:

INSERTION AND REMOVAL OF MEMORY CARD

  1.  Check that the trail camera is switched off before inserting or removing the memory card.
  2.  Insert the memory card the right way round in the memory card slot. Risk of data corruption or data loss if the memory card is put in the wrong way round.
  3.  To remove the memory card, press it down with the tip of your finger until it clicks. Liftoff the finger. The memory card then springs out of the camera.

File transfer to a computer

  1.  Start the camera (put the switch in the ON position) and connect to a computer (PC or Mac) with the supplied micro USB cable. A connection image is shown on the camera display.
  2. The video and photo files on the memory card are now accessible from the computer.

NOTE:
File transfer can also be carried out by removing the memory card from the camera and putting it in a card reader.

HOW TO USE

Standby mode:
Switch on the power switch (ON). The camera goes in standby mode and automatically takes stills/video sequences according to the settings for the length of intervals and video recordings.

Switching off
Switch off the switch (OFF).

Settings mode
Move the switch to settings mode (SET). Stills can be taken in this mode, video sequences can be played manually, and stored photo files and video files can be shown.

Recording modes
Video/photo

  1. Press the up or down button in SET mode to switch between modes.
  2.  Move the switch to the ON position when the required recording mode has been selected. A 15 seconds countdown indicates when the camera starts to record.

Video recording

  1.  Press the up button to use this mode for video recording.
  2.  In settings mode (SET), press the right­hand button to start video recording.
  3. Press the right-hand button once again to stop the video recording.

Taking stills

  1.  Press the down button to use this mode to take stills.
  2.  Press the right-hand button to take a photo.

Display mode
Use this mode to show stored photo and video files.

  1.  Press the OK button to show stored video files and use the up or down button to browse through the stored photo and video files.
  2.  Press the right-hand button to show/play the files, press the menu button to show settings options.

Settings:

  1.  Press the menu button to go to the settings menu.
  2.  Browse in the settings menu with the up or down button.
  3. Confirm the selected settings option with the OK button.
  4. Press the menu button to exit the settings menu.

MAINTENANCE

CLEANING
