Replacing the battery
Replace the battery when “Lo” appears in the LCD display. Open the battery compartment cover on the rear of the scale:
- Remove the used battery using a pointed object
- Fit a new battery by inserting one side of the battery under the battery flap and then pressing down the other side. NB: Insert the battery with the correct polarity.
MAINTENANCE
- Clean the scale using a damp cloth. Do NOT immerse the scale in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
- Do NOT load the triangular ring for an extended period of time. When travelling, do not store the scale close to objects with pointy edges (e.g. toys, books and note pads) to prevent the scale being turned on by accident and draining the battery.
- In order to ensure measurement accuracy, do NOT use the scale in locations with strong magnetic fields.
- Keep the scale out of reach of children as there is a danger that they might swallow the battery or other small parts.
