Thanks for choosing our water sensor, which detects water leakage or overflow, to prevent potential water damage and avoid costly repairs. Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

How to Use

Slide to open the back cover of battery compartment of the sensor, take out the insulation sheet.

(Notes: when the batteries are run out, please choose Alkaline battery instead of Carbon-zinc battery.)

Checklist before using the device:

• Your smartphone has connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi internet.
• You have the correct WiFi Password.
• Your smartphone or tablet must be Android 4.0 + and iOS 8.0 +.
• Your router is MAC-open.
• If the number of devices connected to the router reach the  limit,you can try to disable a device to vacate the channel or try with another router.

How to Set up

1. Use your phone to scan QR code or search “Smart Life” app in Google Play store or APP Store to download and install it.

2. Create an account with your mobile number and enter authentication code.
   

3. Connect your mobile to your WiFi router at your home, click”+” at the upper right corner of homepage or click “Add Device”, then select” Flood Detector (Wi-Fi)” under “Water Leak Sensor” type from “Security & Sensors”.
   

4. If your wifi router only open 2.4GHz,enter the wifi password, if the LED indicator is not blinking rapidly, hold the reset button for about 5 seconds till indicator blink quickly, it will connect to wifi router automatically.
   

5. If your wifi router open both 2.4GHz and 5GHz with same name, please choose”AP Mode”, enter the wifi password,hold the reset button for about 5 seconds till indicator blink slowly, connect your mobile to the device’s hotspot: “SmartLife-XXXX” , click to return to App interface,it will connect to wifi router automatically, the configuration complete. Push the back cover to close the battery compartment.
   

6. Peel off the adhesive tape to mount the sensor on the wall or secure the sensor with the screws.
   
   (Note: When use the adhesive tapes, please make sure the surface of wall or other platforms are flat and clean.)

Main Functions

1. Instant Notification
   Instant notification pushed to your phone immediately when leakage or overflow is detected. Keep you informed all the time.

2. Alarm Alert
   Whenever water leakage or overflow is detected, it will send alarm to alert you that water leakage or overflow is in progress somewhere.

3. Alarm Recording
   Support checking alarm records in the app.Never worry about missing any important moments.

4. Low Voltage Reminder
   When the battery level is low, it will remind you to replace them,never worry about running out of battery.

5. Device Sharing
   Select “Home Management” in the “Me” page to share your added sensors with your family, so they can also monitor the water activity when you are outside.

6. Offline Reminder
   When the WiFi network is offline, it will remind you to check the network.
