AFTER BREWING
Once your brew cycle is complete, remember to dispose of any used K-Cups ® or coffee grounds left in the Pod + Carafe Brew Area. Be sure the clean the Brew Choice Pod + Carafe and its accessories after each brew cycle.
NOTE: The Brew Choice™ will not allow you to begin a new brew cycle until you’ve opened the Brew Area, removed used

Tips & tricks

  • Brew a stronger, more concentrated cup of coffee by selecting a smaller pod size, like 6 or 8oz.
  • Always fill your Water Reservoir with fresh filtered water. The better the quality of your water, the better tasting your coffee will be.
  • Recycle or compost your used * K-Cup® pods. If you purchase biodegradable pods, the entire pod can be added to a composter. Used coffee grounds can be added to soil to enrich garden beds.

Troubleshooting

PROBLEM: Unit won’t brew once size is selected and Start/ Cancel Button is pushed.

SOLUTION 1: If the Water Reservoir becomes empty during the brew cycle, the Brew Choice™ Pod + Carafe will:

  • Beep 3 times.
  • Flash your last selected brew size on the Control Panel.
  • Display “H20” on the Control Panel and flash in sync with the selected size.
  • Extinguish all brew sizes.
Add water to the Water Reservoir up to the MAX fill line.
NOTE: The Brew Choice™ may run out of water mid-cycle.

WARNING: To avoid the risk of injury, do not fill your Water Reservoir mid-cycle.
If you add water, press the Start/Cancel Button to cancel the brew cycle, then re-fill your Water Reservoir.

PROBLEM: Brewing is interrupted and cancels.

SOLUTION 1: If the user presses the Start/Cancel Button during a brew cycle, the unit will beep once, stop its current action, and return to a ”Ready to Brew” state. If this occurs, dispose of the * K-Cup® pod or ground coffee that was in the Brew Area and begin brew process again, adding desired

  • K-Cup® pod or ground coffee to the Brew Area and making brew size selections

SOLUTION 2: If the top lid of the Brew Area is opened during the brew cycle, brewing will cancel. All sizes will become extinguished on the Control Panel and the Brew Selector Dial will become inactive. Pod and/or Carafe will stay illuminated and the coffee maker will continue to display time. Make sure the top of the Brew Area is fully shut and tightly sealed during brew cycles.
