Please read the following manual before use in order to take full advantage of your Trek solar panel.
- Do not puncture, discard or bend the product.
- Do not throw the battery into the fire.
- Do not expose the battery to excessive heat.
- Do not short-circuit the battery with lead or other metal products.
- Avoid static electricity, strong magnetic fields and radiation.
- Do not disassemble the battery or change its structure.
- Stop using the product in case of unusual smell or distortion of the product, or other abnormalities.
- Keep out of the reach of children.

How to charge the solar panel battery
The Trek must be exposed to the sun to start charging its built-in battery.
The Trek embeds an integrated processor allowing an exclusive software-
controlled auto-start function. On overcast days, the solar energy stops
working and when the sun returns, the solar panels automatically start up
again.
The time needed to charge the battery will depend on the intensity of the
sun’s rays and the orientation of the panel. For optimum performance, always
point the panel towards the sun’s rays. The maximum power delivered by the
panel’s battery is 2.1A. It is important not to leave the device to be charged
in direct contact with the sun. The panel is designed to withstand high
temperatures, but not your smartphone for example, so make sure you leave your
devices in the shade while charging, in a bag for example.
Comment recharger ses apparels
Connect a cable suitable for your device to one of the USB ports on the Trek
and then press the power button. Power button is located on the USB ports
module.
It is also very important to always leave the panel in a ventilated area.
Leaving the panel behind a windscreen or veranda for example could damage it.
The temperature in a non ventilated room or vehicle exposed to the sun can
rise very quickly and damage your equipment.
