When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and/or injury to persons, including the following,
READ AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS
- Before connecting the appliance, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds with the main voltage in your home.
- Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of the table or work surface, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not use the appliance on or near hot surfaces, radiant rings or naked flames.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning never use abrasive cleaners on the outside of the coffee maker as this may result in scratching and or damage.
- For safety reasons we do not recommend the appliance to be used by children.
- Do not immerse the appliance in the water or other liquid.
- Never switch on the power if there is no water in the water tank.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the retail store from where you purchased it.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
- Never overfill the water tank, if the water tank is overfilled it is likely to eject boiling water.
- Do not clean container with cleansers, steel wool pads, or other abrasive materials.
- Do not place the coffee maker on hot surface or beside fire in order to avoid to be damaged.
- Be careful not to get burned by the steam.
- Do not let the coffee maker operate without water.
- Some parts of appliance are hot when operated, so do not touch with hand. Use handles or knobs only.
- Do not set a hot container on a hot or cold surface.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

HOW TO USE THE COFFEE MAKER

Clean the containers before it is used for the first time.

Open the water tank lid and fill with clean water to required level.

Put the ground coffee into the paper filter in the filter cone.

Close the water tank lid and switch on the power.
Put the Ceramic jug in the right place. -
The indicator will light up and the maker will be in operation.
Upon completion of brewing coffee, that is one minute later after the coffee stops dripping out, you can remove the Ceramic jug, pour and serve.
MAINTENANCE
- Clean – Do not forget to remove the plug from the wall socket before cleaning the appliance.
- You can clean the surface with a damp cloth. – The removable items should be washed in hot soapy water. Rinse them before fixing.
- Descaling – You should descale the appliance every 3-4 months so as to keep high efficiency.
- Fill the water tank with ordinary vinegar and do not put ground coffee into the filter.
- Switch on the power and the indicator will light up.
- Rinse the jug after use.
