PRODUCT CONNECTION INTRODUCTION

Note: Please read the installation and operation manual before installing and using the product. Please keep this manual in a safe place so that you can consult it at any time in the future.

Indicator status: Green indicates that the door sensor was triggered normally, and red indicates that the battery is low.

1. Power up the Smart Garage Door switch, the Red LED is off.
2. Use the included Red & Black wire connect the Smart Garage Door Switch to your opener: Put each end to the same terminals as the wall button wires are terminated to.
3. Use a tiny screw or nail to click the button in the Smart Garage Door Switch, your garage door should activate.

Note: The 5V USB adapter and dry battery is not included in the package

There are 2 ways to install the garage door switch

1. Installed on the jog switch off the garage door motor
2. Installed on the manual switch

Compatibility Check

1. Use pliers to short the wall button terminals, if garage door open or close, it works. Otherwise please go to point 2.

2.1f point 1 fails, but your garage opener is from Chamberlain/ Liftmaster / Craftman. MSG 100 will still work(needs an extra accessory). Please send us the learn button color of your garage opener, we can ship the proper accessory for you.

THERE ARE 3 WAYS TO INSTALL THE GARAGE DOOR STATUS SENSOR

1. Sensor
2. Open the back cover of the back of the sensor and insert the dry battery
3. Insert the battery into (+) (-) poles
4. Close the battery protection cover
5. Tear off the back of the sensor

Note: The dry battery is not included in the package

MOBILE PHONE APP CONTROL INSTALLATION METHOD

Download Smart Life from IOS APP Store or Download or scan the QR code and install the Smart Life App for either IOS or Android. Once downloaded, the app will ask you to register your device. Enter your phone number or email which ever one makes you feel comfortable and select the country you live in. If phone number selected you will receive a text with a registration code. If you choose email you will then create a password.

Attention: There’s no Registration code needed if email method chosen.

Attention: there’re two modes for configurabions (Quick Mode/AP Mode) available for you to choose before adding the device to your App. Quick Mode is recommended.

ADD DEVICE

1. First press and hold the device reset switch for 5 seconds, so that the indicator light is fast flashing
2. Connect according to the following steps

APP FUNCTION INTRODUCTION

1. Set the information push alarm on or off

Click on the alarm settings

The first door switch represents the door closing alarm message push switch. The second door switch represents the door opening alarm message push switch.

The door dosing alarm message push is turned off. When you close the door you will not receive the door dosing message push.

2. Set the garage door stroke closing and opening time

Click on the alarm settings

Click to set travel time

The alarm information will be accurate only after setting the working time of the garage door travel

3. Wireless garage door smart switch ALEXA / google home voice command Alexa, turn on the door, Alexa turn off the door

ALEXA / GOOGLE HOME CONNECTION METHOD

Add” Wi Fi Smart Switch” to Alexa

Method 1 : Discover Devices. 1. Say “Echo (or Alexa) discover my devices” to start Echo, and Echo will search for devices added to Smart Life in 20 seconds; 2.click “Discover Devices” on Alexa APP, the devices successfully discovered will be displayed.

Method 2: “Smart Life” in the input window, find Smart Life from the search result and click “Enable Skill” . (If the 1st search fails and you try the 2nd search, the word” Already Logon” will appear on the right of the screen, you may unbind it by clicking the Disable Skill, or continue to bind a new Smart Life account by clicking Enable Skill); Enter the registered account and password, the word “Alexa successfully connected to Smart Life” will appear;

Once above de- scribed procedures completed, you may send commands to Echo;
