from Nostalgia™. With this unit, you can have fun dipping marshmallows into chocolate and other sauces. Then use the included decorating set and your imaginationt to create your very own marshmallow designs!

HOW TO OPERATE

Before first use, wipe down all surfaces with a non-abrasive, damp cloth and dry.
Find a clean, dry, non-slippery, level surface near an electrical outlet.
Allow about eight inches of cleared space all around the exterior of the unit.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
Prepare the ingredients for the food to be cooked. See the Recipes section for snack/meal ideas.
NEVER leave the appliance unattended.
Always wear oven mitts or use a potholder while using the CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT to prevent burns.
The cooking time depends on the dish that is being made.
Allow appliance to preheat for about 5 minutes.
Add up to 16 oz. of chocolate or chocolate melting wafers to the pot.
DO NOT touch the Removable Pot. It is EXTREMELY HOT.
Be careful to watch your CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT when in use and stir sauce regularly with a wooden spoon or heat resistant spatula.
DO NOT let sauce boil over, as this could cause burns.
When sauce is ready to serve, use your dipping forks to dip your snacks. BE CAREFUL as sauce will be hot.
As soon as you are finished, unplug appliance and allow to cool. BE CAREFUL, as Heated Base and Removable Pot will still be hot.
Once the appliance is cool, empty any remaining sauce into a bag or trash receptacle. Follow the directions in the Cleaning & Maintenance section to clean your CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT.

HELPFUL TIPS

You may place up to 16 oz. of chocolate in your CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT. For best results, chop up chocolate and add to the Removable Pot ½ pound at a time. This will help speed up the melting process.
Do not add water to chocolate. If you prefer a smoother consistency, add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to chocolate.
If melted chocolate is too thick, remove some of the melted mixture as there may be too much in the pot.
Stir sauce regularly to prevent it from hardening or burning.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Please take care of your CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT by following these simple instructions and precautions.

Disconnect from the electrical outlet by unplugging the appliance.
Make sure the appliance is completely cool before cleaning.
Dispose of any remaining sauce by emptying into a bag or trash receptacle. It is NOT recommended that you pour the leftover sauce down the sink.
After unit is completely cool, hand wash Removable Pot, Lid, and Roasting Forks in warm, soapy water with a non-abrasive cloth.
Dry parts thoroughly with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
Remember that Fondue Forks are reusable.
Wipe the Heated Base with a dry, non-abrasive cloth. Make sure that no water gets inside of the Heated Base.
DO NOT put any parts in a dishwasher.
NEVER immerse Heated Base or cord in water.

RECIPES

Friends and family will enjoy dipping into delicious fun with the CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT! This miniature pot holds up to 16 oz. cups of melted chocolate and other sweet sauces. Melt the following in your CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT for a quick and easy sweet treat:

16 oz. Milk, Dark, Semisweet or White Chocolate Chips
16 oz. Peanut Butter Chips
16 oz. Butterscotch Chips

Serve your melted sauces with:

Fresh Fruit: sliced apples, bananas, strawberries, grapes, honeydew melon, pears, raspberries (fresh fruit should be ripe but still firm enough to not dissolve while dipping)
Dried Fruit: figs, apricots, bananas, pineapple, seedless dates
Cakes and Cookies: pound cake, shortbread, angel food cake, biscotti
Breads: baguettes, French bread, pumpkin bread, zucchini bread, pretzels
You may also try these simple recipes for delicious sauces. The variety of dips you can heat in your CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT are virtually endless. Be creative and have fun!

CHOCOLATE CARAMEL DIP

4-oz. Caramel Candies
1-oz. Semisweet Chocolate
¼ Cup Milk

Preheat CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT for 5 minutes. Place caramels, chocolate and milk in Removable Pot.
Stir occasionally as sauce heats until smooth and completely melted.
Serve with sliced apples or bananas.

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER DIP

8-oz. Creamy Peanut Butter
1/4 Jar (8 oz.) Hot Fudge Topping

Preheat CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT for 5 minutes. Mix peanut butter and hot fudge in Removable Pot. Stir as sauce heats and melts together.
Serve with sliced apples, bananas or pretzel rods.

BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE

1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
¼ Cup Milk
2 Tbsp. Light Corn Syrup
3 Tbsp. Butter

In a small saucepan, stir together the brown sugar, milk, corn syrup and butter. Warm over low heat until smooth and butter is melted. Do not boil.
Transfer sauce to CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT to keep warm.
Serve with frozen ice cream balls.

WHITE CHOCOLATE SAUCE

½ Cup Heavy Cream
1 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter
½ lb. White Chocolate, chopped
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
2 Tbsp. White Creme de Cacao

In a small saucepan, heat the cream and butter over low heat until the butter melts and cream comes to a simmer, stirring frequently.
Preheat CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT for 5 minutes.
Place chopped chocolate in the Removable Pot. Pour the hot cream into the Pot.
Stir in the vanilla and creme de cacao until smooth and completely melted.
Serve with fresh strawberries, grapes or honeydew melon.

CINNAMON SAUCE

1 Cup Water
2 Tbsp. Butter
½ Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tsp. Cinnamon
2 Tsp. Corn Starch

Bring 1 cup water, 2 Tbsp. butter, ½ cup brown sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon to boil in a small saucepan over medium heat.
In a small bowl, dissolve corn starch in 2 tsp. water; whisk into hot syrup for a smooth sauce.
Transfer to CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT to keep warm.
Serve with sliced apples, pound cake or angel food cake cubes.

NACHO CHEESE SAUCE

2 Tbsp. Butter
1 Medium Onion
2 Tbsp. Flour
1 Cups Milk
½ lb. Cheddar Cheese

Melt butter in a small saucepan. Saute onions until caramelized.
Add flour and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
Add milk and cheese and stir frequently until melted, about 15 minutes.
Transfer to CHOCOLATE DIPPING POT to keep warm. Serve with tortilla chips or pretzels.

Nostalgia Products LLC (the “Company”) hereby warrants that for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase, this product will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal home use, provided that the product is operated and maintained in accordance with the operating instructions. As the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty, the Company will at its discretion either repair or replace the product found to be defective, or issue a refund on the product during the warranty period. This warranty is only available to the original retail purchaser of the product from the date of initial retail purchase, and is only valid with the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase date is required to obtain warranty benefits. All warranty claims must be brought to the attention of the Company within the warranty period and no later than 30 days of the failure to perform. This warranty does not cover normal wear or damage caused by shipping, mishandling, misuse, accident, alteration, improper replacement parts, or other than ordinary household use. You may be required to return the product (with shipping prepaid by you) for inspection and evaluation. Return shipping costs are not refundable.
