Fatboy® product information Edison the Giant
Edison the Giant is a floor luminaire suitable for indoor and outdoor use
containing a 2-tone LED light. The light source contains LED modules emitting
2700 K (warm white) and 5000 K (cool white) light. The tone of light smoothly
changes as desired by turning the label and the brightness can be adjusted in
3 steps. The luminaire is protected IP55 rain and water spray proof.
WARNING: READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USE!
- Place the luminaire on a dry, horizontal surface. Uneven floors can cause the luminaire to fall and cause damage to it.
- Do not expose the luminaire to excessive heat from heat sources.
- Check the voltage of your power supply. The voltage must be between 100 and 240 VAC.
- Make sure the power plug is connected properly to a power socket.
- Keep the power socket away from rain or spraying water.
- Do not leave the luminaire outdoors during extreme stormy weather conditions.
- This luminaire is not a toy. Keep children away from the luminaire.
- The external cable cannot be replaced by the consumer; in case the cable gets damaged please contact your local Fatboy® dealer in order to replace it with a new one.
Instructions for use
Note: Carefully assemble the parts as illustrated in the installation guide. The shade should be aligned with the red Fatboy® label facing to the front and the power cable facing to the back.
The red-colored Fatboym label controls the light: Starting position: the I
luminaire is switched off.
– Pull the label once: the light will turn on at 33% brightness.
– Pull it a second time: 66% brightness.
– Pull it a third time: full brightness.
– And at the fourth time the light will turn off. Turning the label left or
right will change the color tone.
The complete change between the two color tones takes 2 x 360 degrees turns.
Maintenance
Please make sure the cable doesn’t get damaged. It would be recommended to check it once in a while. When not in use for a long period of time we recommend storing it indoors.
Cleaning
Use a dry or moist cloth to clean dust or dirty spots.
Do not use pressure to clean. Dirt spots should be cleaned gently to avoid
scratches.
Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, benzene, or abrasive
substances.
To avoid damaging the lamp, do not remove the shade for cleaning.
Troubleshooting
The bottom plate has come loose:
– Make sure the cable power plug is disconnected from the power socket.
– Use the hexagon tool to tighten the single screw at the bottom.
The rubber protectors under the bottom plate have come loose:
– Make sure the cable power plug is disconnected from the power socket.
– Try to attach the protector back to the bottom plate with a non-corrosive
glue.
– Do not use protectors of different heights as it may cause the luminaire to
become unstable and cause damage.

end-user and shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent.
When the light source reaches its end of life, it shall only be replaced by
the manufacturer or his service agent.
If the power cable is damaged do not try to repair it yourself and it shall
only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent.
