SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons, including the following:

  1. To prevent fire or shock hazards, DO NOT expose this appliance to rain or moisture.

  2. Dangerous high voltages are present inside this enclosure. To avoid electric shock, DO NOT open the cabinet, refer servicing to qualified personnel only.

  3. This appliance is intended for household use only and not for commercial, industrial or outdoor use. Other use not recommended may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

  4. Ensure the fan is not placed near drapes, curtains, or any objects that may be drawn into the fan.

  5. To protect against fire, electrical shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse the unit, plug or cord in water or spray it with liquids.

  6. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the product.

  7.  No naked flames sources, such as candles, should be placed on the product.

  8. Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings. Slots and openings are provided for ventilation to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating.

  9. Care required with the use of this appliance in tropical climates. Do not use the appliance in temperatures over 40oC.

  10. Place the fan on a stable level and dry surface when operating to avoid overturning.

  11. Only connect to a suitably AC 220-240V~50Hz mains socket.

  12. Do not operate the fan in the presence of explosive and/ or flammable fumes. Do not place near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliance.

  13. Do not operate the fan without the fan grilles properly in place.

  14.  Do not operate the fan with a damaged cord or plug, after a malfunction or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner.

  15.  Do not place the fan close to an open window. Rain splashing on the fan could cause an electric shock hazard.

  16. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or let it touch any hot surfaces.

  17. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter the grille openings as this may cause damage to the appliance.

  18.  Do not use the fan if grille becomes damaged or loose.

  19. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

  20. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating
    position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

  21. Switch the fan OFF and unplug it from the outlet when it is not in use, when moving it from one location to another and before cleaning.

  22. To disconnect, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull by the cord.

  23. Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify the appliance. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

Installation instructions

**** Note Please unscrew the plastic nut out of the machine head thread counterclockwise

  1. Base installation
    Align the lower pole assembly with the base, clamp them stably and then fix them with bolt and pad

  2. Installation of machine body and lower pole assembly Firstly align the machine body with the hole position of the lower pole assembly, then rotate it clockwise and finally fix it.

  3. Rear grill installation and locking Align the machine head with the rear grill, hang up and then lock it with the plastic nut.

  4. Blade installation and locking Align the 3 blade with the motor shaft, complete the passing through of them and then fix the blade with 5 spinner

  5. Front grill installation and fixing Installation essentials: Find the front grill clip and place the MORRIS logo uprightly

Operation instructions of the machine body

Functions Operation Instructions
Click on / standby;
The oscillating angle can be switched after pressing the oscillating key

repeatedly
in the startup state, i.e. angle: 60°→ shutdown → 90°→ shutdown → 120°→ shutdown… cycle switching.
60 °, 90 ° and 120 ° are displayed accordingly and respectively, ,
(Remark: the screen will not display the oscillating stop state).
| Short press this key to switch the wind speed.
Long press this key to switch the wind type (cycle: normal wind-gentle windsleep wind-normal wind …).
| The numbers “1, 2, …, 8, 9” on the display indicate the normal wind speed and gear. (Remark: There is no icon displayed for normal wind).
| Short press this key to start up / shut down the powerful wind.
Long press this key to start up / shut down the mode of the wind changing with the temperature.
| In the powerful wind mode, the indicator will be turned on, and the screen will display “H”.
| In sleep wind mode, this indicator will be turned on and the wind speed of the fan will be automatically adjusted according to the selected program. There are three gears, i.e. “1, 2, 3”, and the required sleep wind speed can be adjusted by pressing SPEED key.
| This indicator will be lit up in the mode of wind changing according to the temperature. This mode can intelligently adjust the wind power according to the change of ambient temperature.
| The timer to turn on or shut off the machine can only be set by the remote control, and this indicator will be turned on during timing state.

Remote Control Panel

Note
The remote control should be normally used within 5 meters of the front of the product and 30 degrees of the deviation angle. The battery contains many heavy metals, acids and bases, etc., which may threaten human health. Waste batteries should be recycled separately.

Functions Operation Instructions
Startup/Standby.
Startup or shut down oscillating and air blowing.
Switch the wind type.
Set the wind speed or time.
Startup or shut down the mode of the wind changing with the temperature.
– You can set the start-up timer when the fan is in stand-by mode.

– You can set a shutdown timer when the fan is in working mode.
After clicking, the time can be set by pressing or “+ and -” (cycle: 0-1-2 -… 8-0h).
The start-up or shut down downtime will be confirmed after the indicator flashes 3 times. If you wish to cancel the timer (start-up or shut downtime), click again the buttons until the display shows 0.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTION

The fan requires little maintenance. Do not try to fix it by yourself. Refer it to qualified service
personnel if service is needed.

  1.  Before cleaning and assembling, fan must be unplugged.
  2. To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep vents at the rear of the motor free of dust. Do not disassemble the fan to remove dust.
  3. Please wipe the exterior parts with a soft cloth soaking a mild detergent.
  4. Do not use any abrasive detergent or solvents to avoid scratching the surface. Do not use any of the following as a cleaner: gasoline, thinner.
  5. Do not allow water or any other liquid into the motor housing or interior parts.

CLEANING

  1. Make sure to unplug from the electrical supply source before cleaning.
  2. Plastic parts should be cleaned with a soft cloth moistened with mild soap. Thoroughly remove soap film with a dry cloth.
