Installation methods and precautions for LED strips

1. Power Adapter: Input voltage AC100-240V_Do not plug the power supply into the socket to turn on the power before completing the installation of the belt.

2. Infrared sender: Face to the infrared receiver straightly within 32.8ft without any obstacle among.Please remove the plastic pill before use.

3. LED strip light: Test before installation, do not circle the light strip in the circle for a long time to light up, which will affect the heat dissipation and cause high temperature to damage the LED light strip.

4. Smart Wi-Fi Music controller: Please make sure the input power is DC 5-24 and the LED strip supported voltage matches with the DC power input, otherwise the whole LED strip system will be easy to damage.

5. Fixed buckle; Fixed buckle with adhesive backing. Use when the LED light strip cord,
   A controller, and power cord may slide down due to gravity, or the adhesive of the light strip cannot be close to the surface of the object. If it is fixed with screws, it will be firmer.

6. DC Power ends: Please make sure the input power is DC 5-24V and the LED strip supported voltage matches with the DC power input, otherwise the whole LED strip light system will be easy to damage.

7. 4-pin plug: When connecting with a LED strip light, please make sure they match

Note: Android version and IOS version download and use same method,here in the Android version as an example.

Download tuya smart APP or smart life APP from (or log in directly with existing account.)

Search and download Tuya Smart or Smart Life in the app store, or open a browser or other tool with the °Scan OR Code” function, scan the OR code above, and complete the installation. (If you have already installed one of these two apps, you can add a device according to step 5.1)
The app will ask you to log in or register your device. Steps to register the device: Please select your country of residence, enter your phone number or email, and click Get Verification Code, you will receive a digital verification code. The next step is to create a 6-20 digit password to complete the registration and login.

After creating an account, please log into the application with your username and password.

When the W1-Fi smart controller is used for the first time, rt wilt directly enter the pairing state (the Irght es in the fast flashing state) tf it is not n the pairing state, please follow the steps below to parr.
Long press ‘OW button on remote for 5 seconds, wait for LED strip blink.

1. Open App. click ‘+’ ro “add device’, to add device.

Click Select Lightning, and then click Select Right strip Light * to enter the Add Device Click “Next” , and input Wi-Fi password Select indicator status Pay attention Currently Wi-Fi controller is compatible with 2 4G signal source only, not SG.it suits with home used Wi-Fi only, not public Wi-Fi

4. Finish pairing, device renaming control the light by smart phone panel.
   

Authorize and connect your device to Amazon Alexa

If you have activated the skill: tuya smart or smart life, you can just say “alexa, discover_
Note: If you change the device name on tuya smart app or smart life app, alexa needs to rediscover the device.
If not, please check the instructions in APP.

1. Switch to the “Mr option on the APP interface and select `alexa” to enter the authorization page.

2. Click to -sign In With Amazon”  (The bound Alexa account and password)
   

3. After entering the Amazon alexa authorization page? complete the authorization and connect, and return after confirmation . Already linked with Amazon alexa. You can control alexa-enabled devices with Amazon Alexa speakers.

4. If it is still unsuccessful. click the “View more ways to link” below.
   

Authorize and connect your device to Google Assistant

1. Switch to the “ME” option on the APP interface and seed google Assistance to enter the authorization page.

Matters Needing Attention

1. The LED strip light waterproof grade is IP20, which is for indoor use only.
2. Please pay attention to the safety of electricity during the installation process, and you should confirm that the power is completely cut off before installing the LED strip light.
3. Do not expose to liquid, vapor or rain.
4. Keep away from open flames or corrosive solutions.
5. Avoid working with LED strip light directly gathered in the reel for a long time, it should be scattered from the LED strip light reel before lighting.
6. The LED strip light should be installed on a flat, dry, clean surface. The LED strip light is better adhere to the surface of the object. Avoid tearing off the double-sided tape quickly during the installation
7. process, causing the double-sided tape to stick to dust or stains, resulting in insufficient double-sided tape adhesion and the LED strip light can not stick to the object.
8. Do not press hard on the surface of the LED, as it will easily break the LED wire and the LED will not emit light. When installing, you should press the LED strip light circuit board hard, Make the double-sided tape stick to the surface of the object as much as possible. The LED strip light is not easy to fall.
9. The double-sided tape does not have good adhesion to all materials, so please use the fixing buckle to fix the position where the LED strip light is easy to fall. If conditions permit, please increase the screw fixation, the effect will be better.
10. Avoid direct contact between electronic components, solder joints, LEDs, etc. when the LED strip light is energized, otherwise it may cause LED failures due to short circuits.
11. When the weather is dry, wearing sweaters and down jackets is prone to high-voltage static electricity, which can easily break down the LED chip and cause LED failure. Install the LED strip light after removing static electricity.
12. The LED strip light can be cut according to the required length, but if you want to reuse the extra LED strip light, you need to buy a strip connector.

Installation Precautions

Pay attention to common problems

1. When you install it, please do not spread the LED strips on the floor, so as to prevent the LED strips from being entangled or knotted, damaging or breaking the LED strip circuit board.
   

2. During the installation process, it is recommended that you ask a helper to help, because holding the LED strip light installation ,can avoid the entanglement and knotting of the LED strip light.
   

3. When installing at a 90° horizontal corner, be sure to use the LED strip light fixing buckle to fix the arched position. Prevent the LED strip light from falling off_
   

4. Where the LED strip light is easy to fall off, please use spare double-sided tape to reattach it. Or use the fixing buckle to fix it again.
