Wall or Floor Fixing into concrete or brick
- Using the anchor plate as a template drill 2 pilot holes using a 6mm Ø drill bit.
- Remove plate and re-drill the two holes with a 10mm Ø concrete bit to a depth of 55 — 60mm.
- Remove the threaded bolts from the two anchor fixings. Place the bolts through the holes in the anchor plate and hand tighten into the anchor fixings.
- Insert the two anchor fixings into the prepared holes.
- Holding the plate firmly against the wall or floor tighten the bolts.
- Once fitted and checked the top cover can be pressed firmly over the anchor plate to conceal the fixings.
Shed / Timber Building
- Using the anchor plate as a template drill 2 holes through the side wall or floor of the shed using a 6mm Ø drill bit.
- From the outside the backplate can be recessed into the wood using a 12mm Ø drill to a depth of 10mm.
- Remove the threaded bolts from the two anchor fixings. Place the bolts through the holes in the anchor plate and shed. Hand tighten into the backplate.
- Holding the anchor firmly against the wall or floor tighten the bolts into the backplate. This clamps the anchor firmly to the shed. For added security if the bolts protrude through the backplate shorter bolts should be used.
- Once fitted and checked the top cover can be pressed firmly over the anchor plate to conceal the fixings.
