Search “Tuya Smart” on the App Store (for iPhones), Google Play (for Android phones), download and install it, then create an account as prompted.

Preparation for Use

WiFi Light

  • Make sure that the mobile phone, smart light, and router are close to each other.
  • Turn on the smart light and make sure that the phone is connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

*Note: It needs to be operated in a 2.4GHz network environment, and 5G networks are not supported currently. If your Wi-Fi is 5G, please set it to 2.4GHz first. Please refer to the router manual for specific methods.

Bluetooth Light

Ensure that the mobile phone is close to the smart light and turn on the Bluetooth of the mobile phone.

Add Device

Click “Add Device” to enter the manual add page, and select the corresponding product in the “Lighting” list.

Set up the network

Select the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and follow the prompts to connect to the device.5G network is not supported temporarily. If your Wi-Fi is 5G, please set it to 2.4GHz first. Please refer to the router manual for the specific method.

Reset the device

If the smart light flashes, you can skip the reset steps and go to the next step. If the smart light is always on, please reset it according to the following method and try to connect again.

How to reset?

  1. Use the switch to turn off the smart light first.
  2. Use the switch to turn on and off 3 times, the steps are as follows: ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON.
  3. After waiting for a few seconds, the smart light starts to flash, which means the reset is successful.
