Settings
It is important you set an administrator to start setting the door lock functions, it is suggested that as the administrator you set both fingerprint and key code.
User Management
Download the Smart Life app
Register
- Click “Sign Up”and read the Privacy Policy after it pops up. Click “Agree” and enter the registration page.
- You use your email address as your account to register. The country/region of the APP will be the same as the phones. You cannot change the country/region after the registration. Enter the email address and click” Get Verification Code”;
- Enter the verification code and continue to the password setting page. Set your password as required and click “Done”.
Using the Smart Life APP
Adding the Door Lock
- Tap “Add Device” on the Home page or + in the upper right corner of the page to go to the Add Device page.
- On the door lock now press * then # and enter the administrator passcode, then press “1” to enter into the admin settings, then press “ 4 ” to configure the network.
- Press “1” for smart mode to commence Wi-Fi pairing. A countdown starts.
- Now select “Security and Video Surveillance” then choose “Lock (Wi-Fi)
- Select the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the network’s password.
- The app will now search and connect, if successful the new device will appear.The keypad numbers from 1 to 4 will light also light up and you will hear a voice prompt “successful”.
- If the door lock does not connect to the mobile device app, make sure you are connected to the Wi-Fi and receiving a good signal.
Remote Dynamic Unlock, Temporary Password, and Remote Unlock
- Click on the APP homepage to enter the corresponding door lock page
- Slide the door lock interface page to the remote dynamic password screen, click on the icon and it will produce a password valid for 5 minutes.
Temporary Password
- Click the temporary password button on the APP device interface, add, delete, modify, click OK, and wait for the distribution until the APP prompts that it has been issued
- Create random or produce your own code, name the code, set the time settings for the password to remain active. Effect of Time is when the password becomes active, The Failure Time is when the password is no longer active.
Remote Unlock
- Click on the APP homepage to enter the corresponding door lock page
- On the Door Lock have the entrant press “9”+“#” Request remote lock picking
- The mobile APP will receive the application information and click “Ok” to open the lock
Automatically reports after an alarm occurs. The report types include: tamper- proof alarm, low-voltage alarm, normally open alarm, and freeze when the number of verification errors are exceeded.
User Assignment
- Click on users.
- Click “+” on the top right-hand corner.
- Click on others – “Immediately add”.
- Assign a name to the user.
- Press “+” on the form of entry to be allocated or tracked. (Fingerprint, Password or Door Card)
- Assign the corresponding user number already allocated via the door lock or assign a new user number, then as the administrator promptly add the new user details into the door lock via the admin settings #2 (refer page 3 of User management) as set by the app.
- The door opening record in the app will show that the door was opened by the allocated user and by what method. If the user is deleted via the APP, the user can still open the door, and they must be deleted via the door lock via admin settings #2 to be effective.
Electronic Locking Button
When you push the button to the “red” status, the lock will be in a “Locked” status and it can be only opened from outside by Master Admin . To disable this function, you need push the button to “green” status, to release the “Locked” status. Be careful as no user will be able to unlock apart from the admin user, always leave a spare mechanical key hidden outside for emergency.
General Notes
- You will need to reset the time after replacing the battery if not connected to Wi-Fi.
- The lock can be opened using default code 123456 followed by pressing # in trial mode.
- When the voltage is lower than 4.6V, the lock will automatically alarm every time. After the alarm, the lock can be unlocked for 200 times. After that number of times, the delay time of each lock opening will be 2 seconds.
- Passage mode: After unlocking in any way. Press “5” and then press “#”, and the voice prompt “passage mode, please pay attention to lock” is given to open passage mode. Enter valid unlock information again. passage mode closed.
- Keep the lock as close as possible to the wifi router.
- When the network is not good, the remote unlocking function and dynamic password may become inconsistent or unavailable.
- On the WARDEN 1 (Entry Door Lock), to engage the deadlock move door handle upwards.
- Pressing and holding ing # key will sound a doorbell chime.

battery have been installed upside down, whether the battery has enough power

c) To eliminate the above situation, you need to remove the lock ,check whether the wires of the lock body are squeezed, and the re-wire.
6)Unable to register fingerprint| Check the fingers for dirt or wear, check
the fingerprint head on the lock for dirt and oil stains, etc. Check to
see if the fingerprint is working properly

7)What is the reason why the smart lock consumes fast power?| a) Large
standby power consumption
b) Short circuit
8)There is no response to pressing the handle on outside the door, and there
is unlock normally on inside the door, but the verification is normal, and the
motor is normal.| It may be the triangle direction on the clutch was error,
please check correction.
9)How many times can you enter the passcode incorrectly before being locked
out? How long is it locked?| Enter the wrong password more than 5 times in a
row, the keyboard is locked for 90 secods, and the system does not respond to
any operation for 90 seconds.
