EXPANDS YOUR DEVICES WITH WIRELESS VOICE TRANSMISSION FUNCTION Can be switched between BT transmitter or receiver • Wireless stereo music playback, (BT 5.0, ~10 m) • Audio input and output: ø3,5 mm stereo socket • Automatic reconnection • Accessory 3,5 mm/3,5 mm audio cable, (~1,0 m) • Power supply: USB 5 V
Use: stereo BT receiver (red LED lights: TX, „transmitter” mode)
You can expand your devices simply with wireless BT function. You can expand
your devices simply with wireless BT function. Connect equipment which has
headphone connector or LINE OUT output, as signal source to the ø3,5 mm
socket. The BT adapter will transmit the incoming sound in wireless BT mode,
which can be listened to with a BT-compatible device. E.g.: you can listen to
you conventional television or music player wireless with your BT headphone or
BT-compatible devices. For example, you can listen to your TV or HiFi system
or computer wirelessly with BT headphones or BT speakers.
Use: stereo BT receiver (blue LED lights: RX, „receiver” mode)
Conventional audio devices can be transformed into BT-enabled devices. Connect
equipment that has stereo audio input to the ø3,5 mm socket – e.g. amplifier –
and listen to it wireless in excellent stereo quality. BT adapter receives
sound signals transmitted by other BT devices and transmits it through its
ø3,5 mm connector to headphone, amplifier or other equipment. This way you can
get a wireless headphone from the old one, or old HiFi equipment can become a
BT enabled device, if that has an audio input. Depending on the type, you may
need to purchase an audio converter.
Power supply
The device requires a standard 5 V power supply through the USB plug. You can connect it to a car or mains USB adapter or to USB jacks on various devices; e.g. television, active loudspeaker, HiFi system, car radio, computer, multimedia player, power bank, etc.
- To turn on and off, plug or unplug from the USB outlet which supplies the power. Or switch the power supply on/off. The USB sockets of some switched off devices (TV…) remain energized.
- Uninterruptible power can be provided from a USB adapter independent from the device.
- Some USB devices may occasionally cause noise during the reception.
Installation, selecting transmitter (TX) or receiver (RX) mode
Before connecting via USB, use the switch to select the desired mode. Connect
both ends of the audio cable to the BT device and the audio equipment. Insert
the USB plug into the power supply. Depending on the selected function, the
red (TX) or blue (RX) LED will flash. The blinking light indicates the pairing
process, and after a successful wireless connection, the LED lights
continuously.
The device can be paired with other devices with a wireless BT profile (e.g.
telephone, tablet, notebook, television, car radio, speaker, headphones,
multimedia player…). Place the two devices next to each other, then according
to the instruction manual of the device you want to pair with, search for
nearby BT devices, including this adapter. Connect the two devices. A device
that has already been connected will automatically reconnect later.
- Make sure that there are no other BT devices nearby in pairing or active mode besides the device you want to connect. The operating time of the pairing mode is not limited.
- In case of a connection problem, unplug for a short time and turn on/off the BT mode of the other equipment.
- It can be paired with one BT appliance at the same time.
- The actual operating range depends on the other device and environmental conditions.
- Connecting two BT adapters directly to each other is not guaranteed.
- The volume and sound quality of different audio files may differ due to their different parameters.
- Due to the unique characteristics of BT devices, malfunctions may occur that are not a defect of this unit (e.g. installed applications, operating system, lack of security permissions).
- The BT function and the compatibility of the product depending on the device you want to connect, so its operation cannot be guaranteed in all cases.
- Keep the BT adapter as close as possible to the connected BT device, but away from other electrical equipment and cables.
Adjusting the appropriate level volume
The BT adapter does not have volume control. Therefore, use the controller of
the device that supplies or receives the audio signal. It is a natural
phenomenon that the volume of TX mode may be slightly lower than that in RX
mode.
- The too high volume level can cause distorted sound and shorten operation time, while the lower level can cause bigger noise! Correct setting depends on the quality of the connected device and the soundtracks.
- For example, in the case of a mobile phone, an equalizer application installed on it may allow you to set the desired custom sound.
Cleaning, troubleshooting
Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning the device! If it doesn’t work, check the
power of the accumulator! In case of unsuccessful pairing, restart both
devices and repeat the process. Place the units closer to each other if
needed! Check if you have selected the appropriate (TX/RX) mode.
