FEATURES
Power output: 2 x 25 W • Loading capacity: 4 Ohm • Integrated circuit of final
amplifier • 3 kinds of mode for crossover operation: for subwoofers, midrange
speakers and tweeters and wide range speakers • Volume control • High and low
level line entrance • Gilded RCA connectors • 3 kinds of cable accessories
The SBF 2025 dual-channel universal car amplifier is suitable to drive bass
speakers, mid-bass + treble speakers and wide-range speakers. It has an
adjustable sound switch, enabling you to set the frequency transmission that
best suits your system. The amplifier’s versatility makes it possible to use
both channels independently to drive two sub boxes, or two boxes with bass
speakers, feeding them separately.
ELECTRONIC CROSSOVER
The base of the universal usage is the switchable active crossover. With its
help, the amplifier is able to operate conventional car speakers, in wide
range mode, or even only subwoofers or midrange speakers with tweeters as
well. The cut-off point of the crossover is adjustable between 200 Hz. It
means ex. in sub-bass mode (FILTER-L) the frequency transmission will be
between 20-200 Hz, while in FILTER-H position it is adjustable between
200-35.000Hz. In wide range mode (FILTER OFF) the intonated frequency range
will be 20-35.000 Hz.
The switches and controls affect both channels in the same way.

CONNECTING OF LOUDSPEAKERS
Keep your eye on the connection should suit with polarity written at SPEAKER
connector. The load impedance can not be less than 2 x 4 Ohm.
Because the amplifier can not be connected in bridge over, it is reasonable to
use sub-box with two speakers in case of application of sub-bass and power
them separately from stereo channel. But it is not a problem operating only
one piece of sound emitter but in this case we lose the half of maximal volume
of sound.
CONNECTION OF INPUT SIGNAL
The amplifier is suitable to accept both low and high-levelled input signs.
This way it will be able to be connected to such car radios, which are not
equipped with connection, constructed to outer amplifier- only with 2 or 4
loudspeaker outputs. According to this, the wires of HIGH socket are to be
connected parallel to the available loudspeakers, while the two LOW labelled
RCA sockets can be connected to the similar constructed, so-called low-
levelled output of the car radio.
CONNECTION OF POWER SUPPLY
For operating the device need to get tension through the three wires of POWER
socket.
- If the car radio doesn’t have 12 Volt output for this purpose, then the REMOTE and POWER points have to be connected. In this case, one switch is recommended to put in front of REMOTE connector, or get the switch voltage from such point, which will be voltage free after pulling the ignition key out. Otherwise the amplifier would be under voltage continuously.
INSTALLATION, CHECKING DEFAULTS
Before you would activate under voltage the amplifier, check if the
connections are correct. Connections should be stable and without short
circuits, switches and controls are in the correct positions.
The POWER display shows the “ready for operation” status. If the LED doesn’t
light at all, switch off the voltage, disconnect the speakers and the car
stereo, then reconnect the voltage. If the indicator still fails to light, use
a voltmeter to check whether the amplifier is receiving the 12 V supply
voltage and that the grounding point wiring is free of fault. If the car
stereo is equipped with a separate remote control output (REMOTE) and it is
connected, the presence of switching voltage should also be checked.
By reconnecting the supply voltage, the car stereo, and the loudspeakers you
should be able to determine the unit or section of wiring causing the fault.
If necessary also check the fault-free status of the fuse!
If – after turning the volume down – you hear various noises from the system,
first disconnect the RCA plug from the system. If the noise persists, check
the correct grounding of the amplifier.
On the other hand if the noise ceases, this means that its source is outside
the amplifier. Possible causes are: ground loop, contact fault on head unit,
equalizer, crossover, … , or other sound frequency chain device. A faulty
circuit breaker, old battery, bad ignition cables, bad contacts are all
possible sources of audible noise.
SETTING THE INPUT SIGNAL LEVEL
Set the LEVEL volume control in minimum position – twist left. Switch on the
car stereo and turn its volume up about ¾ of the way. Turn the potentiometer
clockwise slowly until you start to hear distortion at volume peaks. Then turn
it back a little bit. This will be the maximum volume of the system at which
sound is reproduced in good quality without distortion. The LEVEL setting
depends on the output level of the car stereo at hand, thus it is varies
device by device. Turning LEVEL up further will not increase the output power
of the amplifier and the car stereo volume control can only be turned up to a
lower degree as the distortion of the system will increase!

WARNINGS
-
The installation of car stereo equipment requires important technical skills and expertise, which cannot be covered in this manual. If necessary, consult an expert to avoid causing damage to the amplifier or your car.
The amplifier will only work correctly if it is installed in a proper way. -
The warranty does not cover damages resulting from improper installation and connection.
-
Never cover the amplifier and only install it in a place where adequate ventilation is ensured.
-
Protect the device from sunlight, dust, humidity and water.
-
The negative pole of the speakers must not get in contact with the car’s grounding (the battery’s negative pole).
-
The amplifier’s protective circuits might get activated and shut off the amplifier when the environment temperature is extremely high or low (e.g., when parking in the sun in the summer or when the car becomes cold in the winter). In this case leave the amplifier turned off until normal environment temperature is restored.
-
Do not use the amplifier for a prolonged period of time when the engine is not running as this can drain the battery.
-
Always use the amplifier at a volume that does not affect your participation in traffic and does not damage your hearing. Many car stereo systems are capable of emitting audio pressure in excess of 130 dB, but sound stronger than 100 dB can permanently damage your hearing.
-
Only use an identical fuse for replacement.
-
This device can only be used with a 12 V power source with negative grounding.
To prevent hearing loss, do not listen to the device at high volumes for
extensive periods of time.
Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste
because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used
or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or
at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function.
Dispose of the product at a facility specializing in the collection of
electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the
health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local
waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the
manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any
associated costs arising.
