Read these instructions for use carefully. Observe the warnings and safety notes. Keep these instructions for use for future reference. Make the instructions for use accessible to other users. If the device is passed on, provide the instructions for use to the next user as well.
Included in delivery
Check that the exterior of the cardboard delivery packaging is intact and make sure that all contents are present. Before use, ensure that the device and accessories have no visible damage and all packaging material is removed. If you have any doubts, do not use it and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Services address.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
WARNING
- The device is only intended for domestic/private use, not for commercial use.
- This device may be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills, or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the device safely and are fully aware of the risks involved.
- Children must not play with the device.
- Children must not perform cleaning or user maintenance without supervision.
- Disconnect the device from the main supply during cleaning.
- Clean the device using only the methods specified.
- Do not use any solvent-based cleaning products.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- The danger of suffocation! Keep packaging material away from children. To avoid the risk of entanglement and strangulation, store cables out of the reach of small children.
- This tower fan is exclusively for recirculating air indoors. The tower fan is intended for private use only. Do not use the tower fan if solvents, chemicals, toxic gases or fine dust are present in the ambient air. The tower fan is not intended for use in kitchens, as oil or grease in the air could block the ventilation grilles.
- Do not use the device if there is visible damage to the device or accessories (e.g. if the mains cable is damaged if the motor fan does not rotate, if the device has malfunctioned, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any way. In any of these cases, contact Customer Services).
- Only operate the device at the voltages indicated on the device (the type plate is located on the back of the device).
- Do not operate the device during a storm.
- In the event of defects or operational faults, switch the device off immediately and disconnect it from the main socket.
- Do not pull on the device or mains cable to disconnect the device from the power supply.
- Never hold or carry the device by the main cable. Keep the main cable away from hot surfaces.
- Always switch off the device before disconnecting it from the power supply.
- Never unplug the mains cable with wet or damp hands.
- To protect against electrical hazards, NEVER immerse the device or mains cable in water or other liquids.
- Never operate the device with wet hands.
- Children are not able to assess the dangers associated with the use of electrical devices. Therefore, children must always be supervised when they are near the device.
- Always disconnect the device from the power supply before moving or cleaning the device.
- Always switch off and disconnect the device from the power supply if you do not intend to use the device for an extended period of time.
- When not in use for an extended period of time, store the device in its original packaging and in a cool and dry place.
- Do not place any objects in device openings or in rotating parts. Ensure that the moving parts can move freely at all times. Never drop objects into the openings of the device.
- Do not operate the device outside.
- Never block the air vents or grilles/outlets and do not place the device on a soft surface such as a bed or sofa, as this could cause the device to tip over and the air inlet or outlet to become blocked.
- Do not place ANY objects on the device.
- DO NOT cover the mains cable with carpets, runners, or similar.
- DO NOT position the main cable under furniture or devices.
- DO NOT position the mains cable in highly frequented areas.
- Arrange the main cable in such a way that it does not pose a trip hazard.
- DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this device.
- Failure to follow this rule shall void your warranty. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device.
- Any maintenance work must be carried out by qualified personnel only.
- Ensure that the openings of the device and the mains cable do not come into contact with water, steam, or other liquids.
- Never pick up a device that has fallen into the water. Pull the mains plug out of the socket immediately.
- Never place the device upside down.
- Place the device on a stable, level surface. Ensure that there is a distance of at least 30 cm between the device and the wall.
- Keep the device away from heat sources such as ovens, heaters, and direct sunlight.
- If you notice an unusual smell when using the device in an intended manner, switch off the device and disconnect it from the power supply.

- Do not use the device in the bathroom or other damp, enclosed rooms.
- Protect the device from impacts.
- Protect the main cable from sharp edges.
- Never leave the device in operation unattended.
Safety notes on handling batteries
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Swallowing can lead to chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death.
Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. Seek medical attention
immediately.
WARNING
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children
- Do not allow children to replace batteries without adult supervision.
- Do not short-circuit batteries.
- Do not heat batteries.
- Remove batteries from equipment if it is not to be used for an extended period of time unless it is for emergency purposes.
- Always select the correct size and type of battery most suitable for the intended use.
- Information provided with the equipment to assist in correct battery selection should be retained for reference.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the equipment prior to battery installation.
- Ensure that the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and ).
- Remove exhausted batteries promptly.
- Do not dismantle batteries.
- Do not dispose of batteries in the fire except under conditions of approved and controlled incineration.
- Batteries may be disposed of via communal refuse arrangements provided no local rules to the contrary exist.
Risk of fire
- Never operate the device underneath a cover, such as a blanket, pillow, etc.
- Never operate the device near petrol or other highly flammable substances.
- We recommend fully unrolling the main cable to avoid dangerous overheating.
- To reduce the risk of fire, do not place the mains cable near heating registers, radiators, stoves, or radiant heaters.
- Do not operate the device in close proximity to flammable or explosive gas mixtures.
- Keep the device away from sources of heat, as the housing could melt and trigger a fire.
Repairs
- Only specialist personnel may perform repairs on electrical devices. Improper repairs may subject users to a considerable danger. For repairs, please contact Customer Services or an authorized retailer.
- Do not open the fan unit.
Handling
- After each use and before each time it is cleaned, switch off the device and disconnect the main cable from the socket.
- Do not place any objects on the device.
- Do not expose the device to high temperatures.
- Protect the device against sunlight and impact, and do not drop it.
- Never shake the device.
- Place the device on a stable, level, and dry surface.

USAGE
4.1 Removing the tower fan
- Open the cardboard packaging.
- Carefully pull the tower fan out of the cardboard packaging.
- Remove all foils.
- Check the tower fan and cable for damage. If you notice damage, contact Customer Services at www.beurer.com.
4.2 Setting up the tower fan
WARNING
Before setting up the tower fan, make sure that it is not connected to the
power supply.
- Place the tower fan flat on the ground.
- Unscrew the large twist lock on the underside (see illustration A page 3).
- Firmly attach the two stand halves together until you hear and feel them click into place. Then guide the mains cable through the middle of the two halves of the stand (see illustration B page 3).
- Align the spigot of the stand with the hole in the tower fan. Firmly screw the stand onto the tower fan using the large twist lock (see illustration C page 3).
- Thread the main cable through the cable duct. Be careful not to damage the main cable. 6. Place the tower fan on a level and stable surface to prevent vibrations and noise.
- Set up the tower fan in your immediate vicinity. Leave a clearance of at least 30 cm on all sides around the tower fan. Never block the air inlet and outlet.
4.3 Starting the application

Plug the tower fan cable into a suitable socket. The temperature is shown on the display.

Pull out the battery strip on the remote control.

Switching on the tower fan: To switch on the tower fan, press the ON/OFF button 7 (either on the remote control or on the control panel). A beep sounds when the device is switched on using the remote control. After being switched on, the tower fan runs automatically at low fan speed and in basic mode .

Selecting the fan speed: The tower fan can run at three different fan speeds. Use the SPEED button 8 (either on the remote control or on the control panel) to set your preferred fan speed. The currently set fan speed appears on the display .

Selecting the mode: The tower fan has three different modes (Basic, Nature, and Sleep). Use the MODE button 9 (either on the remote control or on the control panel) to select your preferred model. The currently set mode is shown on the display.
= Basic mode (continuous airflow)
= Nature mode (simulates winds as they are experienced in nature)
= Sleep mode (the display switches off automatically after 10 seconds)
The airflow switches between the low and high speeds at long intervals. The airflow runs continuously at low fan speed. To exit Sleep mode, press any key. -
Setting the timer: The tower fan has an optional timer (115 hours). The tower fan then switches off automatically after the time set on the timer has elapsed. To set a timer, use the TIMER button 10 to select the desired timer time. If the TIMER button 10 is not pressed for 3 seconds, the currently set timer time is confirmed and is shown on the display. To end the timer prematurely, press and hold the TIMER button 10 for 5 seconds.

Adjusting the swing: To make the tower fan oscillate back and forth during use, press the SWING button 11. To switch this function off again, press the SWING button 11 again.

Switching off the tower fan: To switch the tower fan off again, press the ON/OFF button 7 (either on the remote control or on the control panel). All indicators except that for the room temperature disappear from the display. If the tower fan is not to be used for an extended period of time, disconnect the main plug from the socket.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Ensure that the tower fan is unplugged before cleaning it! Make sure that no
moisture gets inside the device.
- Do not use solvents, other aggressive cleaning/scrubbing agents, or alcohol, as these could damage the surface. Do not use any abrasive or hard objects for cleaning.
- If there is heavy dirt, clean the housing using a damp cloth (water or a mild cleaning solution).
- Clean the ventilation grilles with a soft, dry brush.
- If the device is not to be used for an extended period of time, clean the device and store it in its original packaging in a dry environment and without weighing it down.

DISPOSAL
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste
at the end of its useful life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local
collection or recycling point in your country. Observe the local regulations
for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any questions,
please contact the local municipal authorities that deal with waste disposal.
You can obtain the location of collection points for old devices from the
local or municipal authorities, local waste disposal company or your retailer,
for example.
Disposing of the Batteries
Remove the batteries from the remote control to dispose of them properly.
Empty, completely flat batteries must be disposed of through specially
designated collection boxes, recycling points, or electronics retailers. You
are legally required to dispose of the batteries.
The codes below are printed on batteries containing harmful substances:
Pb = battery contains lead
Cd = battery contains cadmium
Hg = battery contains mercury.
