We will tell you in the simplest language about every step of using the instrument, including hardware installation, setup, and normal use of the instrument. User precautions

Pay attention to safety during use and do not plug or unplug the instrument when powered on.
Try to avoid collisions on the instrument panel.
The outer shell of the instrument adopts waterproof technology, please do not disassemble it randomly to avoid affecting the waterproof performance of the instrument.
Regarding the background parameter settings of the instrument, please do not change them arbitrarily, otherwise normal riding cannot be guaranteed.

Main interface display

7. Routine Operations The E-bike instrument panel provides three themed Ul styles and five languages for users to set up. This specification sheet is based on Using Theme1 and English versions as examples for explanation. “Press and hold button for >2.5S” is replaced by “long press”, and “press and hold button for <0.5S” is replaced by “click”.

  1. On/Off Animation
    After long pressing the “On/Off” button, the instrument panel will power on and play the startup animation; In the power on state, long press the “On/Off” button to make the system power off and the instrument play a shutdown animation. In the shutdown state, the leakage current of the instrument is less than 1uA. The startup interface is shown in the following figure

  2. Gear selection
    After Turing on, click the “+” or “-” button to switch the power assist gear, change the output power of the motor, and adjust the instrument panel. The default gear is 0-5, with no power output in 0 gear. 1st gear is the lowest power and 5th gear is the highest power. When the instrument is timed on, it defaults to 1st gear. The assist gear selection interface is shown in the following figure.

  3. Headlight switch
    Turn on the lights: Press and hold the “+” button when the lights are turned off, the screen’s headlights will light up, and the controller will be notified to turn on the lights. Turn off the lights: Press and hold the “+” button while the lights are on, the screen headlights will dim, and the controller will be notified to turn off the lights. After turning on and off the light, the light sensing function failed, and it returned to normal after restarting. The display interface of the headlight switch is shown in the following figure.

  4. Boost cruise mode
    When the vehicle is stationary, click the “-” button to shift to 0, then long press the “-” button again to enter the boost cruise mode. The boost cruise interface is shown in the following figure.

In the boost cruise mode, the boost sign is dynamically displayed. When the vehicle speed is less than 6km/h, long press the “-” button to stop the boost status. The screen boost sign disappears and the static boost sign status is restored. The cruise assist function can only be used when the user is driving an electric vehicle, please do not use it while riding.

Information Viewing and Settings

Instrument settings
Click the “‘ key to enter the settings information list, use the “+” or “-” keys to move the cursor up and down, select “Display Setting”, “Information”, “Language”, “Themes”, “Password”, “Bluetooth”, “Reset Factory” and “Exit”, and click “‘ to enter. The function selection interface is shown in the following figure Show.   2. Automatic shutdown Enter the “Display Setting” menu, use the “+” or “-” keys to move the cursor up and down, and select “Auto”Off, click to enter the settings interface, move the cursor to select “OFF”, “1 min”, “2min”, “3min”, “4min”, “5min”, “6min”, “7min”, “8min”, “9min”, “10min” (“OFF” indicates turning off the automatic shutdown function, “1 min-10min” respectively represents the time for automatic shutdown.) The required automatic shutdown time will be saved by clicking “”’ to exit from the “Display Setting” menu, and exit by clicking “Back” → “Exit” Main interface.
    Attention: Any operation during the automatic shutdown time will be timed again, and the time for not operating will reach the set time It will only shut down after a certain amount of time.

  3. Single mileage reset
    Enter the “Display Setting” menu, use the “+” or “-” keys to move the cursor up and down, and select “Trip “Reset, click to enter the settings, then move the cursor to select “NO”/”‘YES” (“YES” indicates Clear to zero (“NO” means not reset), click “” to save and exit to “Trip Reset”, click “Back” →Exit to the main interface.   4. Backlight brightness setting

Information viewing

  1. Wheel diameter information – enter the “Information” menu, use the “+” or “-” keys to move the cursor up and down, select “Wheel Size”, click “” to enter the settings. The default wheel diameter is 26Inch, and the range can be set to 16lnch-29lnch. After setting up, exit to the main interface through “Back” -> “Exit”.
  2. Speed limit information – enter the “Information” menu, the speed limit information is not adjustable. When the unit is km (metric system), the default speed limit is 32km/h; When the unit is in miles, the default speed limit is 20MPH. Through “Back”Exit to the main interface.   3. Instrument Information – Enter the “Information” menu, use the “+” or “-” keys to move the cursor up and down, select “Display Info”, click “OK”, and the instrument interface will display the instrument software and hardware version number (software and hardware version number The version number may change due to different batches of products. Exit to the main interface through “Back” ->”Exit”.
  4. Cruise control – enter the “Information” menu, use the “+” or “-” keys to move the cursor up and down, select “Cruise control”, click “OK”, and exit to the main interface through “Back” ~>”Exit.

Language selection
The E-bike instrument panel offers 5 languages for users to choose from. Click the “” key to enter the settings information list, use the “+” or “-” keys to move the cursor up and down, select “Language”, click”’* to enter the language selection interface, move the cursor to switch between “English”, “Deutsch”, “Fran ç ais”, “Chinese”, and “Españ ol”, then short press”” to confirm. Ul selection
The E-bike instrument panel provides four different styles of Ul interfaces for users to choose from. Password settings

  1. Bluetooth connectivity

Restore factory settings

Error code display

When the electric vehicle electronic control system malfunctions, the instrument panel will display an error code. The definition of the error code in this instrument panel is shown in Appendix 2.
