Purpose of the Application

This application aims to help professionals (panel builders and electrical contractors) to select and configure the electrical devices.

Overview of the Application

  • The application is divided into five steps.
  • Navigation within the steps is possible using the tabs at the top of each page.
  • Other functions that are accessible on each page of the application:
  • Register
  •  Log in and log out
  • Save a project in the cloud; this is implemented automatically every 2 minutes, when changing step in the application and manually with an action on the corresponding icon.
  • Download a project on the computer
  • Help
  • Terms and conditions
  • About
  • Notes in free text.

Description of the Application Home Page

After you log in to the application, the Home page is displayed. All functions of the application can be accessed from the Home page.
NOTE: If your country is not supported, you will not be able to use the application.
The functions accessible to logged in users only:

  • Create a project.
  • Upload a project from the computer.
  • Display the list of projects created with this user account.
  • Open, duplicate or remove a project.
  • Search a project with free text based on project name, status and stakeholders.
  • Sort projects by project name, date of creation, date of modification, status and contacts.

Project Information

This page allows you to create the project and to manage the project description:

  • Compulsory data for each project: Project name.
  • Other fields are optional.

Switchboard Information

This page allows you to create panels in the project, to manage the description of each switchboard and to manage the list of switchboards in the project.

  • Compulsory data for each panel: Switchboard name.
  • Optional switchboard data:
    ◦ Type of switchboard: main panel or sub panel.
    ◦ Value of the incoming current in the panel.
    ◦ Short circuit current value at the incoming of the panel.
    ◦ Number of phases at the incoming of the panel. Click the Design button of a switchboard in the list to access the next screen (Bill of Materials) and open the Catalog page.

Bill of Materials

This page displays the list of products in the project.
It is possible to select the price list to be applied to the current project using the
Price list drop-down list (refer to User Price Lists, page 9).
The product list can display the references:

  • For one switchboard
  • For all the switchboards of the project It is possible to add products to a switchboard using the Add Product button. The products can be selected through different options:
  • Schneider Electric catalogue
  • Reference number
  • Favorite products It is also possible to add a product directly in the table by entering a description, a reference, a quantity and a unit price (for example, products from other suppliers).
    For Schneider Electric products, it is possible to access to the documentation of a product in the list of material by clicking the reference number.
    The product list can be exported using the Download button available on the top right corner of the list.

Select a Product

To select the adequate product, click the Add Product button in the Bill of
Materials page. A new window opens which proposes three options:

  • Select a product category in the proposed catalog with steps:

  • Select a product category.

  • Select a range.

  • Select the required set of characteristics in the range by following the red figures turning into green.

  • Get the reference or list of references.
    NOTE: The product datasheet is accessible for each reference.

  • Validate to have all the selected product references in the role card.

  • Select with a product reference:

  • Enter the reference number (only for main product references – this function will not search among auxiliaries, accessories or other options).

  • Select the product from the proposed list and finalize the configuration.

  • Select one of the favorite products defined (refer Create Favorite Products, page 8).

  • Select the favorite product from the list.

Create Favorite Products

  • To create a favorite product, click the white star at the right side of the Bill of
    Materials table in the product row. The white star turns green, the favorite product is added in the favorite list.

  • The list of favorite products created is accessible when selecting a product.

  • To cancel a favorite, click the green star in the Bill of Materials table. The star turns white and the favorite product disappears from the favorite list.

Price Management

User Price Lists

By default, the application does not embed any price. To manage the price lists, go to My profile section available in the Main menu.

  • To get the file to be used as a template for price lists, click Download template.
  • Once the file is ready on your computer, click Upload a price list to add it to your profile.
  • A price list can be renamed, downloaded, removed and set as the default one for your future projects.

NOTE:

  • Up to 10 price lists can be added.
  • A price list can be applied to a project in the Bill Of Material step of the application.

Specific Discount

At the bottom of the product list, the total price is displayed. An extra discount to this total price can be applied using the Specific discount field.

Documents

This page allows you to:

  • Upload documents from the computer to attach them to the project.
  • Download a document previously attached to the project.
  • Rename or delete the attached documents.
