IMPORTANT NOTE! Do NOT touch the touch-sensitive upper side of the housing during the automatic time signal reception or when making any manual settings! Touching the upper side of the housing will activate the snooze function and all other functions will be blocked.

These operating instructions are to be considered a component of the device.
Please read the safety instructions and the operating instructions carefully
before use.
Keep these instructions for renewed use at a later date. When the device is
sold or given to someone else, the instruction manual must be provided to the
new owner/user of the product.

This product is intended only for private use. It was developed as an electronic medium for the use of multimedia services.

GENERAL WARNINGS
RISK OF CHOKING!
This product contains small parts that could be swallowed by children. There
is a RISK OF CHOKING.
RISK of ELECTRIC SHOCK!
This device contains electronic components that operate via a power source
(power supply and/ or batteries). Children should only use the device under
adult supervision. Only use the device as described in the manual; otherwise,
you run the risk of an electric shock.
RISK OF CHEMICAL BURN!
Leaking battery acid can lead to chemical burns. Avoid contact with battery
acid on skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. In the event of contact, rinse the
affected region immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
RISK of FIRE/EXPLOSION!
Do not expose the device to high temperatures. Use only the supplied power
supply or the recommended batteries. Do not short-circuit the device or
batteries or throw them into a fire! Excessive heat or improper handling could
trigger a short circuit, a fire, or an explosion.
RISK of property damage!
Do not disassemble the device. In the event of a defect, please contact your
dealer. The dealer will contact the Service Centre and can send the device in
to be repaired, if necessary.
Do not immerse the unit in water.
Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust, extreme temperature,
or high humidity, which may result in malfunction, shorter electronic life
span, damaged batteries, and distorted parts.
Use only the recommended batteries. Always replace weak or empty batteries
with a new, complete set of batteries at full capacity. Do not use batteries
from different brands or with different capacities. Remove the batteries from
the unit if it has not been used for a long time.
The manufacturer is not liable for voltage damage due to improperly inserted
batteries or through the use of an improper power adapter!
NOTES ON CLEANING
Before cleaning the device, disconnect it from the power supply (remove the
plug or remove batteries)!
Only use a dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. To avoid damaging
the electronics, do not use any cleaning fluid.
Protect the device from dust and moisture. Store it in the supplied bag or
transportation packaging. The batteries should be removed from the unit if it
has not been used for a long time.

applicable guidelines and corresponding standards. This can be viewed at any

DISPOSAL
Dispose of the packaging materials properly, according to their types, such as
paper or cardboard. Contact your local waste disposal service or environmental
authority for information on the proper disposal.
Do not dispose of electronic devices in the household garbage!
As per Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament on waste electrical and
electronic equipment and its adaptation into German law, used electronic
devices must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally
friendly manner.

POWER SUPPLY
Main operation
- Put the DC power plug (Fig. 1, B) in the DC jack (Fig. 2, 8). Put the mains plug into the wall outlet.
- Push the RESET knob to initialize the automatic km/h time signal.
Battery operation
- Open the battery compartment door.
- Install 3 batteries (AAA size 1.5V) strictly according to the polarities shown.
- Reinsert the battery compartment door.
RECEPTION OF RADIO CONTROLLED TIME SIGNAL
The time and date are radio-controlled. The current time and date are
automatically synchronized with the time signal transmitted from Europe.
When used for the first time the clock will start to receive the RC signal in
5 minutes with the signal LED flashing.
NOTE!
- Every day the unit will automatically search for the time signal at 1:00 am, 2:00 am and 3:00 am.
- Always place the unit away from interfering sources such as TV sets, computers, etc.
- Avoid placing the unit on or next to the metal plate.
- The use in airports, cellars, high-rise buildings, or factories is not recommended due to reception problems.
- Do not start reception on a moving particle such as a vehicle or train.
MANUAL TIME SETTING
- In normal time mode, press and hold the SET key for 3 seconds to enter the year setting.
- Press or key to set the desired value.
- Press the SET key again, Month digit flashes, press or key to change its value.
- Repeat the above operation to set the time in this order: Year > Month > Date > 12/24 hr mode > Time zone (+/- 12 hours) > Hours > Minutes.
- Press the [ SET ] key to save and exit the setting or let it exit automatically 30 seconds later without pressing any key.
ALARM TIME SETTING
- In normal time mode, press the SET key to switch to alarm mode.
- In alarm mode, press and hold the SET key for approx. 3 seconds until the alarm hour digit flashes.
- Press or key to change the value.
- Repeat the above operations to set time in this order: Hour > Minute
- Press the SET key to save and exit the setting, or let it exit automatically 10 seconds later without pressing any key.
SNOOZE FUNCTION
- If no key is pressed during the alarm period, the alarm will turn off automatically. The alarm beeping lasts for 2 minutes.
- Touch the upper side of the housing (9) [SNOOZE/LIGHT] to stop the current alarm and enter snooze. Alarm icon AL will be flashing continuously. The alarm will sound again in 5 minutes.
THE ALARM FUNCTION TURN OFF OR ON
- In normal time mode, press the [ SET ] key to switch to alarm mode
- In alarm mode, press the [ UP ] key to turn off or on the alarm function.
DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS
For the LED display different levels of brightness can be set as follows: bright, middle, glimmer. (Only when operated with a DC power adapter)
- Touch and hold the upper side of the housing (9) [SNOOZE/LIGHT] in a normal display mode for approx. 3 seconds to switch from ‚bright‘ to‚ middle‘.
- Repeat step 1 to change the brightness level again as follows: from ‚middle‘ to ‚glimmer‘, from ‚glimmer‘ to ‚bright‘, …
The dimming function only works with the power adapter and after the device has received the DCF time signal. Once the DCF signal is received the LED brightness can be dimmed by touching the upper side of the housing (9) [SNOOZE/LIGHT] for 3 seconds.
ENERGY-SAVING MODE
The alarm clock works in energy-saving mode when batteries are used for the power supply. In this mode, the LED will not light continuously but can be activated for approx. 1 minute by a touch of the upper side of the housing (9) [SNOOZE/LIGHT]. Also, the brightness of the LED display can not be changed.
DATE AND TEMPERATURE DISPLAY
Automatic display changes
The default setting is set to automatic display change. The display switches
every 10 seconds (current time) or rather every 3 seconds (date and
temperature).
Manual display change
Press the MODE button in manual display mode to display the desired value.
First, disable automatic display mode:

Press and hold the MODE button in normal time mode for approx. 3 seconds.
Symbol ON flashes. -
Press or button to select OFF.

Press the MODE button again to save the settings.
