WATERPLACE NORWAY SPRUCE HD LOG SET
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Caution: The log pieces are fragile. Exercise extreme care when opening the log set package and removing individual log pieces.
Introduction:
The NORWAY SPRUCE Log Set is designed and created to replicate the most
realistic burnt wood. The colors applied to this set include black and grey
char shades, red, yellow, tan, and brown bark shades, and white ash shades.
Black and white coals are included as base media with the NORWAY SPRUCE Log
Set.
Included Logs
Open the packaging and remove the logs. Use the guide below to identify
the logs.
Installation Instructions
This log set is for use with the 20”, 40”, and 60” Waterplace burners. These instructions show the logs being installed with a 40” Waterplace. The placement of the logs with a 20” or 60” burner will be similar. Photos of the log set installed in each burner size are at the end of these instructions. The log set must be placed on the burner as shown in these instructions. The logs have been designed to allow the mist from the burner to rise around the logs. Failure to correctly place the logs can result in poor burner performance. It is important to follow all recommendations in the burner manual for the quality of water used in the burner. If excessively hard water is used in the burner calcium deposits may form on the logs and burner. The logs can be cleaned with a soft brush to remove any deposits.
- Start at the back right corner. Angle the log as shown and pull it forward so that it is against the front flange that sticks up on the burner top.
- Next, place the left front log on top of the burner at the angle shown. The end of the log has a flat spot that will sit on the top of the burner.
- Next, place the front center or along with the burner at the angle shown. The back of the log will touch the flange on the burner.
- Place the left rear log on the burner. The front of the “Y” part of the log will push up against the front flange of the burner, as shown.
- Next, set the right front log on the burner. Place the log at the angle shown. The end of the log will be at the edge of the firebox.
- Next, set the back center log across the burner. This is the only log that will cross the burner.
This log set also comes with small ember pieces. They can be placed andomly
around the burner. The log set installation is then complete. Shown below is
the completed installation of the 20”, 40”, and 60” Waterplace burners.
