How to route the harness through the firewall hole (as mentioned at the 3:09
point of the install video)
Step 1:
Feed wires through the firewall hole before attaching the Ring Terminal &
Add-a-fuse. Feed as much of the harness through the firewall as you can until
you can retrieve the wiring harness from inside the
cabin.
Step 2:
Retrieve wires in the cabin underneath the steering column. It may take you a
few times to successfully pass the wiring harness through but keep trying.
You’ll get it!
Step 3:
After successfully retrieving your wires, you’re now ready to remove the
electrical tape and pre-cut wire ends (from the black and red wires) and
connect the Ring Terminal and Add-a-fuse to the black (ground) and red (power)
wires
Step 4:
Connect the black wire to the ring terminal and the red wire to the
add-a-fuse. Crimp your connections and ensure a snug connection by pulling
gently on your wires. .
That’s it! You’re ready to proceed with your installation. Refer to the 3:09 point of the video to continue your installation!
