Connect firmly and securely, make sure that both the audio components and amplifier are properly ground. Always turn off the power switches of both units when connecting or disconnecting the power and amplifier.
b) Connecting Speakers:
Connect a SPEAKERS system having an impedance of 4ohms to 8ohms provided
on the rear panel. Please connect the SPEAKERS terminals to your speaker
with wire of the proper gauge, cut as short as possible. If the connections
are faulty, no sound will be heard from the speakers. Make sure that the
polarity (+ & -) of the speaker wires is correct. The right and left speakers
are connected to right and left terminals. Otherwise unnatural sound with poor
bass response will be produced. Use speakers with the specified impedance
shown on the rear of this unit. Banana Plug connections are also possible.
Simply insert the Banana Plug connector into the corresponding terminal.
*When connecting Banana Plugs to this unit’s SPEAKERS terminals, be sure to tighten the terminal knobs to make contact securely before connections.
Caution: When inserting the stripped ends of the speaker wires as shown
