Dear consumer, Please read these instructions carefully before use in order to avoid damage due to incorrect use and to better understand the functions of this product. Please pay particular attention to the safety guide. If you pass the device on to a third party, these Operating Instructions must also be handed over. Please keep them for future references.
- Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
- Plug the appliance only into an earthed wall socket.
- Always remove the plug from the wall socket when the appliance is not in use.
- When using an extension lead always make sure that the entire cable is unwound from the reel. Use solely approved extension leads.
- Incorrect operation and improper use can damage the appliance and cause injury to the user.
- The appliance must be used only for its intended purpose. No responsibility can be taken for any possible damage caused by incorrect use or improper handling.
- Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
- Never use this unit near a bathtub, shower, wash-hand basins or other containers with water.
- Never use this apparatus near water projections.
- Never use this apparatus with wet hands.
- If, unfortunately, the apparatus is wet, immediately withdraw the cord of the socket outlet.
- This appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and that they fully understand the potential hazards.
- In order to ensure your children‘s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

- In order to protect children or frail individuals from the hazards of electrical equipment, Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. This device is not a toy. Do not allow small children or disabled people to play with it.
- From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if the cord or appliance shows any signs of damage.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly Competent qualified person(*) in order to avoid a hazard.
- Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and household or similar applications such as:

- The temperature of accessible surfaces may be very high when the appliance is operating. Never touch these parts, of apparatus, to avoid burning itself.
- Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power supply and let it cool down.
- Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
- Never use accessories, which are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
- Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way.
- Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it
- Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.
- Make sure the appliance never comes into contact with flammable materials, such as curtains, cloth, etc…& the power cord and plug do not come in contact with water.
- Competent qualified person: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this service.
- This appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of age, as long as they are supervised and have been given instructions about using the appliance safely and are fully aware of the dangers involved.
- Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by children unless they are at least 8 years of age and are supervised by an adult.
- Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age.
- When using electrical equipment, safety precautions must always be taken to prevent the risk of fire, electric shock and/or injury in the event of misuse.
- Make sure that the voltage rating on the type plate corresponds to the main voltage of your installation. If this is not the case, contact the dealer and do not connect the unit
- Never leave the unit unattended while in operation.
- Please keep this document at hand and give it to the future owner in case of transfer of your device
- The device must not be used if it has been dropped, it obvious signs of damage are visible or if it has leaks.
SPECIAL SAFEGUARDS
- Unroll the power cord completely.
- Check that the tension in force in the country where you are corresponds to that indicated on the apparatus.
- Connect the apparatus in a socket-outlet in a good state, and connected to the ground, to avoid any danger.
- Disconnect the power source cable before any operation of cleaning maintenance and accessories assembly.
- Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
- Do not use or keep this product outside when it is raining.
- Certain parts of the appliance can get hot. Do not touch them, as you may burn yourself.
- Never modify the appliance in any way.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Before plugging in your new Raclette grill, check to see that the electric circuit is not overloaded with other appliances. This unit should always be operated on a separate 220-240 volt, AC outlet which is able to supply min.16A
- Be certain that your unit is resting level on the countertop. Avoid using pans that are unstable and easily tipped. Place pan under the heating element.
- Turn the switch on 1 position. The pilot light will glow indicating the heating element is energized and heating will begin immediately
- The metal surfaces will become hot. Do not touch it while is used. When cooking is finished, turn the thermostat back to the « O » position.
- The surface is hot when used or before being cooled. Never touch the appliance before it’s cooled to avoid scalding.
- If the hotplate is not to be in use for a long period of time, it is recommended to unplug the unit from the outlet. This helps to prevent accidental burns.
USING YOUR RACLETTE
- Plugin the appliance.
- Put the switch at the position “MIN”, the indicator comes on. Pre-heating time is 5 – 8 min for the grill,
- Because the surface is very hot, it is recommended to put the appliance on the anti-flame and heat-proof cushion. It is also recommended that the minimal distance between walls or environmental components is not shorter than 15cm.
- It is possible that a slight smoke smell comes out when first used.
- When first used, drop some oil on the surface of the plate then wipe it with dry cloth.
- In order not to destroy the plating of Teflon, when turning or moving food, make sure a wooden shovel is used.
- Don’t put another mini pan which does not match the whole set on the appliance.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Reasonable care will ensure many years of service from your unit. Avoid dropping items on the heating elements. Always unplug unit from electrical outlet and allow to cool before cleaning.
NEVER IMMERSE IN WATER or other liquid.
Use a damp soapy cloth or sponge to clean the surface of the hotplate, chrome
burner ring, drip pan, and base. The sponge or cloth should only be damp
without water dripping to avoid water leaking into the hotplate.
NEVER USE HARSH ABRASIVES OR STEEL WOOL PADS ON ANY PART OF THE UNIT.
Any servicing other than cleaning should be performed by an authorized service
center.
NOTE: A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is required, extension cords are available from local hardware stores and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, (1) the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least 16A, 250V, 3000W and (2) the longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over nor should it touch any part of the hotplate body.
STORAGE
- Ensure the unit is completely cool and dry.
- Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this will cause damage.
- Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place.

The services within the framework of the guarantee do not involve any extension of the warranty period and do not give the right to a new guarantee! -
In the event of recourse to the guarantee, bring back the complete apparatus to your retailer, in its original packing, accompanied by the proofs of purchase.

The breakage of parts out of glass or plastic is, in all cases, not warranted. Defects on the accessories or the wearing parts (for example coals of engines, hooks, drive belts, remote control of replacement, teeth brushes of replacement, webs, etc) as well as cleaning, maintenance, or replacement of wearing parts are not guaranteed and are thus to pay!

equipment should be taken to your local recycling center for safe treatment.
This will contribute to the recycling and other forms reutilisation of
electrical and electronic equipment.
The Symbol “Steam” within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the
user to the presence of an important steam jet & to take all necessary
cautions against burns.
The symbol ” CE” marking; Is the guarantee the respect of the harmonized,
optional European standards, which respect the essential requirements in
technical specifications. These standards are not obligatory but are
guarantors of conformity to the essential requirements.
This logo “Recycling” sensitizes the consumer on the need for recycling its
waste. Recycling is a process by which the materials which compose a product
at the end of the lifetime (industrial or domestic waste) are re-used in whole
or part and will be reintroduced in the initial cycle of production.
