SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. READ INSTUCTIONS: All the safety and operation instructions should be read before the appliance is operated.

BEFORE OPERATION

Notes: CONCERNING COMPACT DISCS.

Since dirty, damaged or warped discs may damage the appliance, care should be taken of the followings items:

  • Usable compact discs. Use only compact disc with the mark shown below.
  • CD compact disc only with digital audio signals.

DISC MAINTENANCE

  1. Before playback, wipe the disc from the center hole towards the outer edge with a clean cloth.
  2. Never use benzene, thinner, cleaning fluid, static electricity prevention liquids or any other solvent.

CLEANING THE UNIT

  1. To prevent fire or shock hazard, disconnect your unit from the AC source when cleaning.
  2. The finish on your unit may be cleaned with a dust cloth and cared for as other furniture. Use caution when cleaning and wiping the plastic parts.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

AC POWER

You can power your portable system by plugging the detachable AC power cord into the AC inlet at the back of the unit and into a wall AC power outlet. Check that the rated voltage of your appliance matches your local voltage. Make sure that AC power cord is fully inserted into the appliance.

BATTERY POWER:

Insert 4X1.5V “C” size/UM-2/R14 batteries into the compartment. Be sure that the batteries are inserted correctly to avoid damage to the appliance. Always remove the batteries when appliance will not be used of a long period of time, as this will cause leakage to the batteries and subsequently damage to your set.

Notes:

  • Use batteries of the same type. Never use different types of batteries together.
  • To use the appliance with batteries, disconnect the AC power cord from it.

  8. (+)/REPEAT/EQ/RAD/TUNING: Manual selection of stations. Selecting equalizer mode. Selecting the playback mode.
  9. VOLUME +/-: Volume control.

CONTROLS

GENERAL OPERATION
-Unpack the box, connect the unit to socket by the power cable, Press ON/OFF/MODE to turn on the unit, and press to choose play mode you prefer. Press and hold ON/OFF/MODE to turn it off -Short press Vol- / Vol+ to adjust vol by step, press and hold Vol-/Vol+ for fast volume adjustment.

BLUETOOTH OPERATION
Press the ON/OFF/MODE button to select Bluetooth mode, use your Bluetooth device like mobile phone to connect by pairing SC-509BT. -Short press PLAY/PAUSE to pause and resume play, long-press to disconnect and re-connect Bluetooth. -Press REPEAT to select EQ modes. -Press 100/001 to go to the previous or next song and start playing.

CD OPERATION
Insert a CD into the CD compartment. Select the CD mode with the ON/OFF/MODE button.

  • Press PLAY/PAUSE to start playing and pause playing CD.
  • Short press | <</>>| to go to the Previous / Next track and start playing, press and hold  | <</>>| for fast backward and fast forward during playing.
  • Press STOP to full stop playback of CD
  • Short press REPEAT to select EQ modes, and long-press to choose repeat playing modes (OFF-Repeat One-Repeat All- Radom).

RADIO OPERATION

  • Set the ON/OFF/MODE selector to radio mode.
  • Short-press PLAY / PAUSE / AUTOSCAN for perform automatic search for stations and saved, long-press Play/Pause for mute/unmute FM playing.
  • Short-press | <</>>| for auto-search Up / Down to Previous / Next program and start playing, long-press to skip Previous / Next stored program and start playing.
  • Press TUNING +/TUNING – for fine tuning by step 0.2MHz Up / Down.

FOR BETTER RECEPTION

  • Reorient the antenna direction for better reception.

USB MP3 OPERATION
Connect a USB device and press the ON/OFF/MODE button to select USB mode.

  • Press PLAY/PAUSE to pause and resume play.
  • Short press | <</>>| to go to the previous or next song and start playing, long press to skip to previous or next folder and start playing. Press STOP Press to stop playback.
  • Short press REPEAT to select EQ modes, and long-press to choose repeat playing modes (OFF-Repeat One-Repeat All-Repeat Folder- Radom).

AUX OPERATION
Press the ON/OFF/MODE button to select AUX mode, use 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable to connect your device with this unit.

  • Press Play/Pause for mute/unmute playing
