Safety instructions
  • Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters, other heat sources or in direct sunlight.

Risk of electric shock

  • Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.

Warning

  • Never connect multiple units of this product in series.
  • Never connect the garden socket to an extension cable or adapter. Instead, only connect it directly to the power socket since otherwise overheating can occur.

Note -splash-protected
This product is protected according to IP44 against moistureand splash water.

Start-up and operation

Warning

  • Only operate the product from a socket that has been approved for the device. The socket must be installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
  • Disconnect the product from the power supply using the On/Off switch –if this is not available, unplug the power cord from the socket.
  • If using a multi-socket power strip, make sure that the total power consumption of all connected devices does not exceed the power strip’s maximum throughput rating.
  • If you will not be using the product for apro-longed period, disconnect it from mains power.

Commissioning

  • First remove the protective cap from the ground spike.
  •  Screw the garden socket onto the ground spike.
  • Push the ground spike upright into firm soil. Ensure that the ground spike is inserted firmly into the soil and cannot fall over.
  • Connect the mains plug to a properly installed socket.
  • Then connect your switched-off device to the socket.
  • Now switch the connected device on.

Note -pull out the garden socket

  • Disconnect the garden socket from the mains.
  • Disconnect the mains connection to the connected device.
  • Using the handle, pull the garden socket out of the ground.

Timer
Note
The timer will stop running if the power supply is interrupted.

  • The timer is activated and deactivated using the slider button (6).
  • Switch position ¹:Timer activated
  • Switch position I: Timer deactivated /permanent operation

Programming on /off times

  • Toprogram the switch-on times, the time tab is pushed downwards according to the desired time. 1tab equals 15 minutes. If alonger time span is required, moretabs (15-minute intervals) must be pushed downwards.
  • Switch-off times: Pull the time tabs back up.

Setting the current time

  • The time selector dial is turned clockwise until the arrow on the inner ring of the selector dial shows the current time.

Care and maintenance

  • Only clean this product using alint-free, slightly damp cloth and do not use any harsh cleaners.
  • Ensurethat no water is able to enter the product.

Note
Disconnect the device from the mains before cleaning and during prolonged periods of non-use.
