Beater FIG 1 Importance of Safeguards**

When using the appliance, make sure to follow the safety precautions below:

Read the following safety precautions carefully when using the appliance. Failure or negligence in observing these precautions could cause fire, electrical shock or personal injury.
Remove and discard all packaging materials of the appliance. Make sure children do not play with them to avoid any danger.
Do not plug in the same power socket with other high-wattage appliances to avoid overloading. Also, check whether the rated voltage on the appliance is the same as the local voltage.
Insert the power plug firmly. Otherwise, abnormal heating of the plug may cause electric shock and fire.
Clean the power plug regularly, otherwise the dust may accumulate on the power plug or cause a fire due to poor insulation due to moisture.
Do not immerse the main unit, power cord or plug into water or let them wet as it will affect its safety performance. Make sure the plug is dried before use.
Do not run the hand mixer continuously more than 5 minutes in once. It is recommended to re-operate the hand mixer at least 15 minutes after once operation is done, until the hand mixer is sufficiently cool down. Otherwise, the appliance will be damaged because of overheating.
Do not disassemble, repair or modify this product by yourself, otherwise it may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
Do not insert any objects into the vent or the gaps, otherwise it may cause electric shock or malfunction.
When not in use for a while or after usage, unplug the appliance from the socket to prevent electric shock due to insulation aging.
Do not touch, plug in or unplug the plug with wet hands, otherwise it may cause electric shock.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Using, cleaning and maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Put the appliance and its power cord in a place not reachable by children. Accessible parts may become hot during use. Young children should be kept away.
Make sure children not to play with this product as a toy.
Do not use this product near a heat or fire source.
Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than those described in these instructions.
Do not put your hands, scrapers or other implements close to the spinning beaters.
Do not get hair, necklace or string of clothes close to the appliance. It may cause injury due to entrainment.
Make sure to hold the power plug when unplugging the power plug. Never pull on the power cord.
Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing attachment or approaching parts that move in use.
The beater wings are very sharp, avoid physical contact during emptying and cleaning the appliance, you can seriously injure yourself.
Make sure to slide the switch on the “0” position before plugging and unplugging.
Do not place heavy objects on the power cord. Do not modify, pull or twist the power cord forcibly.
Do not use the product when the power cord is tangled, or hang the power cord on the edge of a table or cabinet or let it touch a hot surface, otherwise, it will cause damage to the product and power cord.
The appliance is intended to be used in household or similar applications such as staff kitchens in shops, offices and other working environments; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments. Do not use it outdoors and in any purpose or method which is not stated in the manual. (Misuse may cause potential injury and product damage.) If the appliance is used improperly, for commercial (or semi-commercial) use, the warranty becomes invalid and our company will refuse any liability and repairing charge for the damage caused.
Always check if the main unit, power cord and plug are damaged or abnormally hot. To avoid hazards, stop using the appliance immediately and contact Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Limited for checking and repair if any part is damaged. Do not attempt to refit the appliance by yourself or replace any unauthorized parts other than the supplier; otherwise, it can cause hazards and the warranty will become invalid.
Always disconnect the hand mixer from the power supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
To prevent hazards occur, when the appliance or parts were malfunctioning, do not replace them with any parts or accessories which is produced without authorization. Otherwise, the maintenance guarantee will become invalid.
Follow the safety precautions/instruction to prevent accidents from happening, contact Shun Hing Electric Service Center Limited. when repair is needed (address is printed on the back cover of the manual or call 2406 5666 for inquiry), make sure to show warranty card (printed on the gift box, and must be saved it for future reference), invoice/redemption voucher during repairing.

Cleaning and storage

After using the appliance, clean it in time for the next usage.

Make sure the appliance is unplugged and let the product cool down before cleaning.
Main unit cleaning: Do not rinse or immerse the main unit directly with water. To clean the surface, wipe it with a soft damp cloth. If the surface of the body is stained too much, wipe it with a soft cloth moistened with a small amount of mild detergent, and then wipe it off with a damp cloth.
Egg beaters cleaning: press the eject button to release the egg beater. You can rinse the beaters with soft brush or a sponge moistened with mild detergent. Do not use decontamination powder or hard sanitary ware (such as a wire brush) to wipe.
Never use a poisonous or corrosive detergent to clean the appliance.
After washing and cooling the product completely, put the appliance back to box and store it in a dry place. Do not wrap the power cord around the main unit or press the power cord while storing, it helps to avoid damage of the power cord.

Before Use

Assembling

Make sure the appliance is unplugged before use, and the On/Off switch is on the “0” position.
Insert the beaters into the main unit, until you hear the click sound.\

Preparation

Please be reminded while preparing ingredients and bowl:

Use a deep bowl to avoid ingredients splashing out.
Avoid using plastic or aluminum bowl as they get scratched easily.
The number of ingredients not higher than beater wings.

Operation Instruction

Make sure the On/Off switch is on the “0” position before plug.
Insert the beaters into the bowl gently. (When the ingredients are small quantity, you may tilting the bowl for easier stirring.)
Turn on the hand mixer by sliding the On/Off switch. User should adjust the spinning speed due to different purpose, there are 5 speeds selection in total. (From the lowest spinning speed 1 to the highest spinning speed 5)
WARNING: Do not press the release button during operation, otherwise the beaters might eject out and cause danger.
When the whipping is done, slide the On/Off switch to “0” position and then pull up the hand mixer.
CAUTION: Do not raise the beaters when they are still spinning to avoid splash.
Unplug the power plug and then press the eject button to release beaters.

CAUTION! Do not run the hand mixer continuously over 5 minutes. Let the appliance rest and cool down for 15 minutes after a 5 minutes operation, otherwise, the appliance might be damaged due to overheating.

TroubleShooting

During operations, if any error occurred, please check the following table before call for service.

Symptoms	Checking points	Remedy

Beaters suddenly stop spinning while operating.

| Check whether the size of ingredients are too large.| Switch off the appliance and then cut the ingredients to smaller pieces.
Check whether the number of ingredients are too much.| Switch off the appliance and then reduce the amount of ingredients.

If the above remedies/solutions cannot fix the problem OR the below conditions occurred, unplug the appliance immediately and report to Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Ltd. at 2406 5666 for checking and repairing. To avoid any danger and damage to the appliance, do not disassemble or repair the appliance by yourself.

If the power cord and power plug is heating abnormally.
If the electricity flows discontinuously when the power cord is slightly bent.
if the appliance is abnormally hot, emitting a burnt smell and smoke.
If you get electrically shocked when touching the appliance.
If the appliance sometimes could not switch off automatically.

For any defect, in the judgment of technician from Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Limited, cause under normal use, our company is responsible for repairing and replacing any parts of the said electrical appliance free of charge within one year guarantee period commencing from the date of purchase. Any defective part which has been replaced shall become our property. Warranty service does not cover the repair or replacement of consumable parts. If the appliance is used improperly, for commercial or semi-commercial use, or not following the instructions in the operation manual, the warranty becomes invalid and our company will refuse any liability and repairing cost for the damage caused.
