WARNING
- The device is only intended for domestic/private use, not for commercial use.
- This device can be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills or people lacking experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the device safely and are aware of the consequent risks of use.

- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless supervised.
- If the mains connection cable of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer ser-vice department or a similarly qualified person to avoid any risk.
- When using the device in the bathroom, unplug the mains plug after use, as water in the vicinity constitutes a danger, even when the device is switched off.
- Never use the device near baths, wash basins, showers or other objects containing water or other liquids – danger of electric shock!
- As an additional safety measure, we recommend the installation of a residual-current-operated protective device (RCD=Residual-Current Circuit Device). The
rated operational current should not exceed 30 mA in the bathroom circuit. Your local electrical specialist can provide you with the relevant information.

PROPER USE
The volumizing and hair-drying brush must only be used by individuals for styling hair and is for personal use only!

- for the intended purpose and as specified in these instructions for use. Any improper use may be dangerous!

USAGE
Starting use
- Dry your hair with a towel and comb it thoroughly. Only use the volumising and hair-drying brush on pre-dried, slightly damp and well-brushed hair.
- Make sure that your hair is clean and free from styling prod-ucts. This does not apply to products which protect the hair against heat.
- Insert the mains plug of the volumising and hair-drying brush into a suitable socket.
- Turn the sliding switch [4] on the volumising and hair-drying brush to the de-sired blower and temperature setting ( , 1 or 2)
- Hold the volumising and hair-drying brush by the handle in one hand. With the other hand, take hold of the cool-touch tip [1].
- Choose the styling method that you prefer from Section “6.2 Hairstyling” and follow the instructions.
Hairstyling Straightened hair
- Depending on your hair type, set the volumising and hair-drying brush to setting 1 or 2.
- Take hold of a section close to the roots of the hair and from there slowly glide the brush head [2] through the hair down to the tips.
- Repeat several times until your hair is straight and dry.
Hair with volume and bounce
- Depending on your hair type, set the volumizing and hair-drying brush to set-ting 1 or 2.
- Place the brush head [2] over a section of hair at the tips.
- Wrap the section of hair, up to the roots, around the brush head [2] in an inwards or outwards direction, whichever you prefer.
- Hold this position for approximately 20 seconds.
- After the 20 seconds, slide the sliding switch [4] to setting to fi nish the section.
- Unwind the section completely in the opposite direction.
- Repeat the instructions for each section of hair to curl the rest of your hair.
Note
If your hair becomes knotted while winding or unwinding, switch off the device and carefully release the hair from the brush head [2].
CLEANING
Important
- Always pull the mains plug out of the socket before cleaning the device. Risk of electric shock!
- Before each use, remove any sucked-in fl uff , dust or hair from the air outlets [2] and the air intake fi lter [5] using an appropriately sized brush.
- Hair that has remained on the brush head [2] after use can be removed by hand once the device has cooled down.
DISPOSAL
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end of its useful life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local collection or recycling point in your country. Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal. You can obtain the location of collection points for old devices from the local or municipal authorities, local waste disposal company or your dealer, for example.
