IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
- The device must only be used for the purpose for which it was designed and in the manner specified in the instructions for use.
- These devices may be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills, or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the device safely, and have understood the risks involved.
- Children must not play with the device.
- Danger of suffocation! Keep packaging materials away from children.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless supervised.
- Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, shower trays or other containers which have water in them.
- Risk of electric shock! Never submerge the device in water or other liquids. If the device falls into water, do not reach into the water! First switch off the fuse at the fuse box and then pull the mains plug out of the socket.
- If using the device in the bathroom, unplug it after use –this is because proximity to water constitutes a danger even when the hair dryer is switched off.
- As an additional safety measure, the installation in the bathroom circuit of a residual current device (FI/RCD) with a rat-ed tripping current not exceeding 30 mA is recommended. Ask your installer for advice.
- This device is not designed for use in commercial areas.
- If the mains connection cable of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service department or a similarly qualified person, in order to pre-vent hazards. Do not use the device if it is damaged or not functioning correctly.
- Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable 11 .
- Do not wrap the mains cable 11 around the hair dryer!
- Risk of fire! Ensure that the air outlet opening 2 and the removable guard are 3 not covered.

USAGE

Wash hair as usual and then dry with a towel. Hairsprays contain flammable substances, so do not use hairspray while using the hairdryer.

Stand on a dry, non-conductive surface and make sure your hands are dry.

To switch on the hair dryer, press the ON/OFF button 4 . The hair dryer starts on the medium warm air setting and two red LEDs light up on the LED display

Use the warm air button 6 or cold air button 5 to set your preferred level. The illuminated LED display 7 shows the currently set level.
One red LED = gentle air flow, warm air
One blue LED = gentle air flow, cold air
Two red LEDs = powerful air flow, very warm air
Two blue LEDs = powerful air flow,cold air
Three red LEDs= very powerful air flow,hot air
Three blue LEDs = very powerful air flow,cold air -
Dry and/or style your hair as you wish.

Switch hair dryer off after each use/interruption. To switch off the hair dryer, press the ON/OFF button 4 . The LEDs on the hair dryer go out.

Remove the mains plug from the socket.

Allow the hair dryer to cool completely on a fireproof surface.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Disconnect the mains plug and leave the device to cool.
- Remove and clean the guard as shown in figure A. To ensure a long service life, clean the guard at regular intervals.
DISPOSAL
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste
at the end of its useful life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local col-
lection or recycling point in your country. Observe the local regulations for
ma-terial disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive –
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible
for
waste disposal.
You can obtain the location of collection points for old devices from the
local or municipal authorities, local waste disposal company or your dealer,
for example.
