IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.

The term “Power tool” in the warning refers to your mains-operated battery- operated (cordless) power tools.

Work area safety
a. Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
C. Keep children and bystanders away while operating power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

2. Electrical safety
a. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.

3. Personal safety
a. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.

b. Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes. hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.

c. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energizing power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.

d. Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.

e. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.

f. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

h. Only use safety equipment that has been approved by an appropriate standards agency.
Unapproved safety equipment may nol provide adequate protection Eye proteclion must be
ANSI-approved and breathing protection must be NIOSH-approved for the specific hazards in the work area.

4. Power tool use and care
a. Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application.
The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b. Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool
before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive
safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
d. Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with
the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the
hands of untrained users.

e. Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts
and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation.
If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained power tools.
f. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges
are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
g. Use the power tools, accessories and tools bits etc. In accordance with these instructions,
taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed.
Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.

5. Battery tool use and care
a. Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
b. Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs
may create a risk of injury and fire.
c. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins,
keys, nails,screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal
to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
d. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact.
If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, seek medical help.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

6. Service
Have your power tools serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical  replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tools is maintained.

SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES

  • Hold power tool by insulted gripping surfaces, when performing an operation  where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring. Cutting accessory contacting a “live” wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool “live” and could  give the operator an electric shock.

  • Use clamps or another practical way to secure and support the workpiece to a  stable platform. Holding the work by hand or against your body leaves it unstable and  may lead to loos of control.

  • When not in use, place tool on its side on a stable surface where it will not cause a tripping or falling hazard. Some tools with large battery packs will stand upright but may be easily knocked over.

  • Keep hands away from cutting area. Never reach underneath the material for any
    reason. Hold front of saw by grasping the contoured gripping area. Do not insert fingers
    or thumb into the vicinity of the reciprocating blade and blade clamp. Do not stabilize the
    saw by gripping the shoe.

  • Keep blades sharp. Dull blades may cause the saw to swerve or stall under pressure.

  • Use extra caution when cutting overhead and pay particular attention to overhead  wires which may be hidden from view. Anticipate the path of falling branches and debris ahead of time.

  • When cutting pipe or conduit ensure that they are free from water, electrical wiring. Etc.

OPERATION

■ Charge the Reciprocating Saw

The charger could be charged under the temperature is from 0-450C

1. Take off the battery pack

CAUTION: Make certain the lock-off button is engaged to prevent switch actuation  before removing or installing battery.

Hold the tool tightly with one hand, press the button (No. 10 of the Function Figure) of the battery pack with the thumb of the other hand, then pull outward, and take out the battery.

2. Charging
Put the battery into the charger, then plug the Charger into the power supply and the red charging light will activate,showing that power is supplied to the Charger. When the red light is off, the green charging indicator will light, check the battery capacity showing, if all three lights are on, show the battery is fully charged.(ATTENTlON: If the green light is on, but three lights for the battery  capacity showing are not on all, that indicates the battery and the charger are in
trouble, pls stop using, and check with the maintained man.)

After charging, unplug the charger, and remove the battery immediately from the  charger. Allow the battery pack to cool completely before using it.  This charger (included in the tool) is specialized for the lithium tools.

WARNING! Do Not use a different Charger or Battery to power this drill.

■ Capacity Showing
For making sure the capacity of the battery, we design one capacity showing on the bottom of the battery pack , also with three capacity showing lights. Press the  button, it indicates it is full charge when the three lights on; Two light for 50%  capacity; One light for out of power almost.

■ Install and replace the saw blade
Remove battery pack before changing blades. Make sure the spindle and blade clamp areas are clean. This saw is designed for lock-less chuck, do not need other additional tool.Hold the blade clamp collar, twist collar in the direction of counter wise while insert the blade into the clamp until the tang butts against the collar, then loose the clamp.

To remove blade from saw:

WARNING: Burn hazard. Do not touch the blade immediately after use. Contact with the blade may result in personal injury. Twist open blade clamp collar  to its full open position and remove blade.

■  STARTING / STOPPING / CONTROLLING SPEED
To start the tool, grasp the handle firmly and pull the trigger. An LED is turned on when the trigger is pulled.

To vary the speed, increase or decrease the pressure on the trigger. The further  the trigger is pulled, the greater the speed.

To stop the tool, release the trigger. Make sure the blade comes to a complete stop before removing the blade from a partial cut or laying the tool down.

BRANCH SUPPORT DISMOUNTING
Make the branch support face the guide slot of the shoe assembly, push toward the housing, then ” click” sound indicates the mounting is completed. Press button “5”, pull out the branch support.

■  Emergency Stop
Making sure the safety, this tool is designed with Emergency Stop, the central anvil would stop once the Trigger is released.

■  Protection Function
This tool is designed with over-loading, over-heating, excessive discharge, short circuit protection function, to avoid damage for the lithium battery. The tool would stop working when the protection system is started on the above protection point.

Soft Grip
Soft grip for anti-skid, anti-shocking, which could make the operator be more safer.
Cleaning,Maintenance and Lubrication

  1. BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the tool. Check for loose hardware, misalignment parts, damaged electrical wiring, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation 0
  2. AFTER USE, wipe external surfaces of the tool with clean cloth.
  3. Nicd BATTERY BE RECYCLED OR DISPOSED OF PROPERLY. Do not short, incinerate or open Battery Pack.
  4. When storing, always store in clean, dry and safe location out of reach of  children.
    WARNING! If the supply cord of this power tool’s charger is damaged, it must be replaced only by a qualified service technician.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING: When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts could create a hazard or cause product damage.

Store indoors in a dry, locked-up place out of the reach of children, with the battery pack removed and power supply disconnected. Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden chemicals and de-icing salts.

Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc. Keep the tool and the battery pack in dry places.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Deal with material recovery replace the disposal of rubbish
DO NOT put the power tool or the battery pack into the general daily life rubbish, flame or the water.
