Intended use

•  The computer can only be used for the tasks for which it is designed. Any other use is considered a misuse case.

•  The mower is designed for private use, that is, for use in home and garden environments.
•  Private use of the equipment refers to an annual operating time that generally does not exceed 50 hours, during which the machine is primarily used for the maintenance of residential lawns and small-scale home or hobby gardens. Public facilities, sports halls and agricultural /forestry or similar applications are excluded.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES

Warning
When using gasoline tools, always observe basic safety precautions. It should always be followed to reduce the risk of serious personal injury and/or damage to the unit. Read all of these instructions before operating this product and keep them. for future reference. This machine produces an electromagnetic field during operation. This field can, in some circumstances, interfere with active or passive medical implants. To reduce the risk of serious injury or death, we recommend that individuals with medical implants consult their physician and the manufacturer of the medical implant before using this machine.

•  Read the instructions carefully. Familiarize yourself with the controls and the proper use of the equipment.
•  Never allow children or people who are not familiar with these instructions to use the machine. Local regulations may restrict the age of the operator.
•  Never mow when people, especially children or pets, are nearby.
•  Bear in mind that the operator/user is responsible for accidents or dangers that other people or their property may suffer.
•  Operators must receive adequate training in the use, adjustment and operation of the machine, including prohibited operations.

Preparation

•  When mowing grass, always wear appropriate PPE for your safety. Do not wear the equipment barefoot or with open sandals.
•  Thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment will be used and remove all objects, such as rocks, toys, sticks, and cables, that may be thrown by the machine
•  Gasoline is highly flammable so:
  •  Store fuel in containers specifically designed for this purpose.
  •  You should only refuel outdoors and do not smoke while refueling.
  •  Add fuel before starting the engine. Never remove the fuel tank cap or add gasoline while the engine is running or when the engine is hot.
  •  If gasoline is spilled, do not attempt to start the engine, move the machine away from the spill area and avoid creating any source or ignition until the gasoline vapors have dissipated.
  •  Replace fuel, tank caps and containers safely.
•  Replace faulty chokes.
•  Before use, always visually inspect the blades, blade bolts, and equipment assembly for wear or damage. Replace the entire cutting deck each time as necessary to preserve balance.

Operation

•  Do not use the equipment in a confined space where dangerous vapors can accumulate.
•  Do not use the machine if you are tired, ill, or under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.
•  Do not use the machine when there is no illumination adequate.
•  It is recommended to limit the duration of use, in order to minimize the risks caused by noise and vibration to the user. Rest at reasonable intervals during work.
•  Be careful when using the mower on slopes and near slopes or embankments.
•  Mow only in daylight or good artificial light.
•  Avoid using the equipment on wet grass.
•  Always be sure of your movements on slopes and always avoid running.
•  For rotary wheel machines, mow along slopes, never up and down. Be very careful when changing direction on slopes.
•  Do not mow excessively on steep slopes.
•  Be very careful when backing up or pulling the machine towards you.
•  Stop the blade if it is necessary to tilt the machine for transport when crossing surfaces other than grass, and when transporting down and from the area to be cut.
•  Never use the machine without safety devices.
•  Caution: The machine should not be used without the complete grass catcher or self-closing dump opening guard in place.
•  Do not change the engine governor setting or over-speed the engine.
•  Do not alter any sealed setting for engine speed control.
•  The safety systems or features of the machine must not be altered or disabled.
•  Disengage all blades and drive switches before starting engine.
•  Start the engine carefully according to the instructions and with your feet well away from the blade.
•  Do not tip the machine when starting the engine.
•  Do not start the engine when it is stopped in front of the discharge chute.
•  Do not put your hands or feet near or under rotating parts. Stay clear of the discharge opening at all times.
•  Never lift or transport a machine with the engine running.
•  Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire, make sure all moving parts have come to a complete stop, and where there is a key, remove it:
  •  Before clearing blockages or unclogging the duct.
  •  Before checking, cleaning or working on the mower.
  •  Alter hitting a foreign object. Inspect the mower for damage and make repairs before restarting and operating.
•  Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire, make sure all moving parts have come to a complete stop, and when a key is in place, remove the key:
  •  Whenever you leave the mower.
  •  Before refueling.
•  Reduce the throttle setting during engine shutdown and, if engine is equipped with a shutoff valve, turn off fuel when shutdown is complete.

Maintenance and storage

•  Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws in good condition to ensure equipment is in good working order.
•  Never store equipment with gasoline in the tank inside a building where the vapors can reach an open fire or spark.
•  Let the engine cool down before storing it anywhere. Clean and maintain the machine before storing it.
•  To reduce the risk of fire, keep the engine, choke, battery compartment, and gasoline storage area free of grass, leaves, or excessive grease.
•  Check the grass catcher frequently to see if it is worn or damaged.
•  Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
•  If it is necessary to empty the fuel tank, it should be done in the open air.
•  Improper maintenance, use of non-conforming replacement components, or removal/modification of safety components can damage the machine and seriously injure operators.
•  Use only blades and replacement parts recommended by the manufacturer. The use of non-original parts can damage the machine and injure the operators.
•  If the blade stop device does not work, contact the service center for assistance.
•  Do not touch the rotating blade.
•  Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine stopped.

ASSEMBLY

Install the handle and pull the cable

1.  Remove the 4 bolts and washers that were fitted at the factory.
2. Align the 4 mounting holes on the handle with the screw holes on the case one by one.Attach the handle to the machine. Figure 5-2
3.  Insert the terminal of the clutch into the corresponding hole in the lever. Figure 5-3
4.  Insert the starter cable bolt correctly into the pull cable lock slot and tighten the nut with the wrench 13 on the arrow direction. Figure 5-4
5.  Install the traction cable. Place the draw wire nut with the iron stem on the iron screw found in the adjusting box and turn it. Turn another 2-4 turns after feeling obvious pulling force. Finally, turn until the nut is tight and backlash-proof. Figure 5-5

Install the front wheel assembly

1. Mount the bottom of the mower deck chassis to a 20-40mm thick object (such as a block of wood or a thick book) for easy installation.Insert the front wheel assembly pin into the corresponding hole in the engine deck and use two bolts to secure the front wheel assembly. Figure 5-6, Figure 5-7

Duct installation

1.  Position the conduit in the mounting position on the base so that the five studs on the base are exactly aligned with the five slots in the conduit.
2.  Use five M6 nuts and washers to secure the ramp to the chassis. Figure 5- 8

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Before use

•  Service the engine with gasoline and oil. Read the instructions carefully.
•  Warning
• gasoline is highly flammable.
  •  Store fuel in containers specifically designed for this purpose.
  •  Refuel only outdoors before starting the engine and do not smoke while refueling or handling fuel.
  •  Never remove the tank cap or add fuel while the engine is running or when the engine is hot.
  •  If fuel is spilled, do not attempt to start engine, move machine away from spill area and avoid creating any source of ignition until petrel vapors have dissipated.
  •  Replace all fuel tanks and container lids securely.
  •  Before tilting the machine to hold the blade or drain the oil, remove the fuel from the tank.
    Note: Never fill the fuel tank indoors, with the engine running, or until the engine has been allowed to cool for at least 15 minutes after running.

To start the engine

1.  The unit is equipped with a rubber boot over the end of the spark plug, make sure the end of the spark plug wire (inside the rubber boot) is securely held over the metal tip of the spark plug.
2.  Place the throttle lever in the “High Speed” position. Figure 6-1
3. Grab the starter lever and pull up quickly. Return it slowly after the engine shakes.
   Attention
   Start the engine carefully according to the instructions and restart it well away from the blade. Do not tip the machine when starting the engine. Start the machine on a level surface, free from tall grass or obstacles. Keep hands and feet away from rotating parts. Do not start the engine when it is stopped in front of the discharge opening.

Rotating and stopping the blade
Press the safety knob and then press down on the blade clutch lever to activate the blade. Hold the handle when the blade is in operation. Figure 6-2

Drop the “Clutch Knife Lever ” to stop the rotation of the blade.
Note:
During operation, when the blade handle is released, the blade will stop and thus the machine will stop running. Use the lever to stop the blade. When you release the lever, the blade stops automatically.

•  To cut, hold the lever in the working position.
•  Before you start mowing, check the start/stop lever several times to make sure it is working properly.
•  Make sure that the tension cable can be used without problems (i.e. it does not snag or kink in any way).

Caution:
The blade continues to rotate for a few seconds after the brake lever is released.

Control for automatic movement
The machine is equipped with a speed adjusting system that can adjust the speed from 0.4 m / s to 1 m / s. Adjust speed: Fig 6-3

The step as follows:

1.  Release the vending drive control handle until the machine stops moving.
2.  Set the appropriate speed you want.
3.  Grasp the vending transmission control handle to continue mowing. Figure 6-4

Do not attempt to cut exceptionally tall wet or dry grass (eg grasses) or piles of dry leaves. Debris may accumulate on the machine bed or come in contact with engine exhaust, posing a potential fire hazard.
To stop the engine

1. Push the throttle lever to the “STOP” position to stop the engine. Figure 6- 5

Note:
Disconnect the spark plug wire as directed in the separate engine manual to avoid accidental starting while the equipment is unattended.

Height adjustment instructions
Your machine is equipped with a height adjustment lever that offers 4 height positions.Height (blade to ground) can be adjusted from 25mm to 75mm (4 height positions). Figure 6-6, Figure 6-7

1.  Stop the blade before changing the mower’s cutting height.
2.  The height adjustment lever offers you 4 different height positions.

Usage tips

•  Clear the lawn of debris. Make sure it is free of stones, sticks, wires, or other foreign objects that could be accidentally thrown by the machine in any direction and cause serious personal injury to the operator and others, as well as damage to property and surrounding objects. Warning: If you strike a foreign object, stop the engine. Remove spark plug wire, thoroughly inspect machine for damage, and repair damage before restarting and using.
•  Do not mow wet grass. For efficient mowing, do not mow wet grass as it tends to stick to the underside of the deck, preventing grass clippings from being properly mowed.
•  Do not cut more than 1/3 of the length of the grass. The recommended cut for mowing is 1/3 the length of the lawn. Ground speed will need to be adjusted so clippings can be spread evenly across the lawn.
•  For especially heavy cuts in thick grass, it may be necessary to use one of the slower speeds to achieve a clean, well-mowed cut.
•  When mowing long grass, you may have to cut in two passes, lowering the blade another 1/3 of the length for the second cut and perhaps cutting in a different pattern than the one used the first time. Overlapping the cut a little on each pass will also help remove any lost trimmings that remain.
•  The machine should always be used at full speed to gel the cut and allow it to do the most efficient cutting work.
•  Clean the underside of the platform. Be sure to clean the underside of the mower deck after each use to prevent grass build-up.
•  When cutting leaves, make sure they are dry and not too thick on the lawn. Don’t wait for all the leaves to fall off the trees before mowing the lawn.
•  Extensive machine vibration during operation is an indication of damage. It must be inspected and repaired immediately.

Cover cleaning
The underside of the mower deck should be cleaned after each use to prevent a build-up of grass clippings, leaves, dirt, or other matter. If this debris is allowed to accumulate, it will invite rust and corrosion and can prevent proper mulching. Deck can be cured by machining and fitting a suitable tool (make sure spark plug wire is disconnected).

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Spark plug
Use only original replacement spark plugs. For best results, replace the spark plug every 100 hours of use.

 Brake pay
check and/or replace the engine brake pads at an official dealer regularly and use original parts as a replacement.

LUBRICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Attention:
Disconnect the spark plug before servicing.

CLEANING

Caution:
Do not hose down the engine. Water can damage the engine or contaminate the fuel system.

•  Clean the platform with a dry cloth.
•  Use hose under deck by tilting machine so spark plug is up.

ENGINE AIR FILTER
Do not allow dirt or dust to clog the air filter foam element. The engine air damper element should be serviced (cleaned) after 25 hours of normal mowing. The air filter should be serviced regularly if the machine is used in dry and dusty conditions.To clean the air filter

1.  Press two tab heads on top of air filter cover to disengage and pull out.
2.  Remove the cap.
3.  Wash the filling element with soapy water. Do not use gasoline.
4.  Air dry.
5.  Reinstall the filter.
   Note:
   Replace the filter if it is frayed, torn, damaged, or cannot be cleaned.

Cutting blade
Caution:
Be sure that disconnect the spark plug wire before working on the cutting blade to avoid accidental starting of the engine.

•  Protect your hands by using thick gloves or a cloth to grasp the cutting blades.
•  Tilt the machine correctly.
•  Remove the hex capsule and washer that hold the blade and the blade adapts to the output shaft.
•  Remove the blade. Figure 9-2

Warning:
Periodically inspect the blade adapter for cracks, especially if you hit a foreign object. Replace when necessary.

•  For best results, your blade should be sharp.
•  The blade can be re-sharpened by removing it and then grinding or filing the edge of the blade keeping it as close to the original bevel as possible.
•  It is extremely important that each cutting edge receives the same amount of polishing to avoid an imbalance of the blade.
•  Improper blade balance will cause excessive vibration resulting in eventual engine and machine damage. Be sure to carefully balance the blade after sharpening it.
•  The balance of the blade can be tested by balancing the blade with a round tip screwdriver.
•  Remove the metal from the heavy side until it is evenly balanced.
•  Align the washer on the blade and insert the hex bolt. Tighten the hex bolt to the torque shown below.

Blade mounting torque
Center bolt 40Nm-50Nm, to ensure the sale operation of your equipment, all nuts and bolts should be periodically checked to verify that they are well tightened. After prolonged use (especially in sandy soil conditions) the blade will wear out and lose some of its original shape. Cutting efficiency will be reduced and the blade will need to be replaced. Replace only with a factory- approved replacement blade. Possible damage resulting from the unbalanced condition of the blade is not the responsibility of the manufacturer. When changing the blade, you must use the original type marked on the blade (to order the blade, contact your official dealer). 9.4

Engine

•  Maintain engine oil as directed in the engine manual that comes separately with your unit. Read and follow the instructions carefully. Perform air filter maintenance according to separate engine manual under normal conditions.
•  Clean every few hours in dusty conditions. Poor engine performance and hooding generally indicate that the air filter should be serviced.
•  To service the air cleaner, refer to the engine manual that came separately with your unit.
•  The spark plug should be cleaned and the gap reset once a season. Spark plug replacement is recommended at the beginning of each cutting season.
•  Consult the engine manual for the correct plug type and clearance specifications.
•  Clean the motor periodically with a cloth or brush. Keep the cooling system (fan housing area) clean to allow adequate air circulation, which is essential for engine performance and performance.
•  Be sure to remove all grass, dirt, and combustible debris from the choke area.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS (OUT OF SEASON)

The following steps should be taken to prepare the machine for storage.

•  Empty the tank after the last mowing of the season.

  •  Empty the fuel tank with a suction pump.
    Caution

  • Do not drain gasoline in closed rooms, very close to open fire, etc. Do not smoke as gasoline fumes can cause an explosion or fire.

  •  Start the engine and let it run until the remaining gasoline runs out and shuts off.

  •  Remove the spark plug.

  •  Use a can of oil to fill approx. 20 ml of oil in the combustion chamber. Operate the starter motor to evenly distribute the oil in the combustion chamber.

•  Clean and oil the mower carefully. Lightly grease the mower to prevent corrosion.

•  Store the mower in a dry, clean and frost-free place, out of the reach of unauthorized persons.
  Caution:
  The engine must have completely cooled down before storing the mower.

•  Care must be taken to protect the equipment against rust. Using a light oil or silicone, cover the equipment, especially the cables and all moving parts.

•  Be careful not to bend or twist the cables.

•  If the starter wire becomes disconnected from the wire guide on the handle, disconnect and ground the spark plug wire. Press the blade control lever and slowly pull the engine starter rope. Slide the starter rope onto the rope guide bolt on the handle.

Transportation

•  Stop the engine and let it cool down.
•  To disconnect the spark plugs and empty the fuel tank according to the instructions.
•  Make sure not to bend or damage the mower when pushing it over obstacles.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The motor does not start
