IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES

  • The device must only be used for the purpose for which it was designed and in the manner specified in the instructions for use.
  • These devices may be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills, or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the device safely, and have understood the risks involved.
  • Children must not play with the device.
  • Danger of suffocation! Keep packaging materials away from children.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless supervised.
  • Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, shower trays or other containers which have water in them.
  • Risk of electric shock! Never submerge the device in water or other liquids. If the device falls into water, do not reach into the water! First switch off the fuse at the fuse box and then pull the mains plug out of the socket.
  • If using the device in the bathroom, unplug it after use – this is because proximity to water constitutes a danger even when the hair dryer is switched off.
  • As an additional safety measure, the installation in the bathroom circuit of a residual current device (FI/RCD) with a rated tripping current not exceeding 30 mA is recommended. Ask your installer for advice.
  • This device is not designed for use in commercial areas.
  • If the mains connection cable of this device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service department or a similarly qualified person, in order to prevent hazards. Do not use the device if it is damaged or not functioning correctly.
  • Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable . Do not wrap the mains cable around the hair dryer!
  • Risk of fire! Make sure that the air outlet is not covered.

DEVICE DESCRIPTION

The associated drawings are shown on page 3.

Folding device handle| Sliding switch with three settings:
0: Off
1: Low air flow, warm air
2: High air flow, hot air

USAGE

  1. Switch on the Foldable compact hair dryer using the sliding switch. :
    – 0: Off
    – 1: Low air flow, warm air
    – 2: High air flow, hot air

  2. You can use the rotating professional nozzle to adjust the direction of the hot air as required.

  3. Dry and/or style your hair as desired.

  4. After each use/at each break, always switch the foldable compact hair dryer off at the sliding switch (setting 0).

  5. After each use, pull the mains plug out of the socket.

  6. Allow the device to cool down.

  7. Do not wind the mains cable around the device! Store the device in a dry place out of the reach of children. The device can be hung on a hook using the hanging eyelet .

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Note

  • Your device is maintenance-free.
  • Protect the device from dust, dirt and humidity.
  1. Disconnect the mains plug and leave the device to cool.
  2. Do not clean the foldable compact hair dryer with any highly flammable liquids! Risk of fire!
  3. The casing of the hair dryer and the accessories may be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with warm water.
  4. Before each use, remove any fluff, dust and hair from the air outlet using an appropriately sized brush.

DISPOSAL

For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end of its useful life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local collection or recycling point in your country. Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.
You can obtain the location of collection points for old devices from the local or municipal authorities, local waste disposal company or your dealer, for example.
