Thank you for purchasing the ROVACS RV60 Air Purifier, delivering clean and healthy air for you and your home or office. Please contact us for the latest product information, including operator manuals, videos, support materials, and where to purchase items.
The RV60 is a durable piece of equipment, with proper care it will last for many years. This owner’s handbook outlines the installation, operation, and maintenance requirements to sustain perfect product performance.
The RV60 features an H13 High-Efficiency Particulate Air Filter (HEPA) and Activated Carbon sponge, which captures >99.97% of particles with a diameter greater than or equal to 0.3 microns.

The RV60 can filter out impurities and particles in the air, such as viruses, respirable dust, mites’ eggs, excretions, mold, dust, allergens, pollen, bacteria, dust mites or cigarette smoke, asbestos, toxic dust, and aerosols from the air, dander, allergens from the fur of dogs or cats.

Health & Safety

KOVACS products are designed with safety in mind. However, personnel using this device must be familiar with any potential dangers. All safety information detailed in this handbook should be reviewed before installing and operating this air purifier.
This product is not a toy; children must be supervised when using the device. Keep packing materials out of children’s reach.
The system has been designed for indoor use only. Install the air purifier out of direct sunlight on a flat, level dry, and secure surface with average ambient room temperature.
Do not touch the power plug AC adaptor with wet hands. Do not use the power adaptor if the unit is damaged or the product is not working.
Do not use the device in a place with heavy moisture or smoke. Please keep the device away from flammable gas appliances such as heaters of fireplaces.
Clean the device and remove any dust from the power plug regularly. Unplug the unit when cleaning, do not use strong corrosive detergents of chemicals as they may damage the surface of the device.
Do not obstruct the air inlets or outlets on the device. Do Not wash or reuse the composite filters — Replace them with new filters.

Your ROVACS RV60 Air Purifier was carefully assembled, packaged, and shipped complete with all the parts you should require.

Connecting up the System

Step 1

Before using the air purifier for the first time, open the base and remove both filters. Make sure you altogether remove any packaging from each filter element, or the product will not function correctly. (See pages 9-10).
Step 2
Plug the output of the power adapter into the connector on the back of the purifier. Plug the power adaptor into an electrical outlet. The purifier should now be in standby mode.
Step 3
Push the power button once to turn the air purifier on. The purifier should now be in operational mode.

Operational Guide

Power Button

The indicator light will be blue and flash for about one second when the power adaptor is first connected to the purifier, indicating the purifier is in standby mode. Press the on/off button once to turn on the device; the indicator light will now be blue; the device will operate in the default mode (sleep) fan speed.

Operational Mode

From default mode, press the on/off button repeatedly to cycle through fan speeds:

• High—maximum air filtering mode
• Standby—off (press and hold for 1 second)
• Low—standard air filtering
• Sleep — quieter sleeping mode

The indicator light is displayed accordingly.

Sleeping Mode

Sleeping mode (silent speed). The indicator lights are turned off after 5 seconds to enter into sleeping mode. The fan continues to operate at a quieter low speed.
Press the on/off button once to review device mode (after 5 secs the system resumes sleeping mode) or continue to press on/off to cycle through other operational modes.

Filter Timer

The filter element lifespan is dependent on how many hours the air purifier is utilized and which mode of operation is used.
The system automatically monitors the fan speed and operational hours, when the filter lifespan reaches 100% that the red indicator light will always be on.
When the filter lifespan reaches 100%, the power indicator will always be bright red when it is on standby or working; when pressing on/off the power button for 3 seconds in standby mode, the red indicator light will be off to complete the reset of filter lifespan.

Filter Reset

When the filter lifespan is not up to 100% if it is necessary to force zero clearing (replace the filter halfway), long-pressing the on/off power button for 3 seconds in the standby state, the red light will be on and enter the forced zero clearing mode of filter lifespan; After entering the forced zeroing mode of filter lifespan, long-pressing the on/off power button for 3 seconds in the standby state, the red light will be off to complete the forced zero clearing of filter lifespan.

Note: Total collective hours between filter change = 1000 hrs.
(The 1000 hrs is the filter lifespan of the air purifier at high speed only)

Filter Replacement

Step 1

Press the on/off button until the indicator light is off, turn off the power adapter, and unplug the purifier. Invert the purifier to a soft surface (to avoid scratching the case). Rotate the base lock cover to open and lift off the base cover, and remove the two old filters.
Step 2

Clean out any remaining dust or hair inside the purifier using a vacuum hose or dry cloth. DO NOT use water or liquids to clean the purifier.
Step 3

Remove any packing from the new filter elements and take notice of the inward and outward sides of the filter element.

Step 4

Slot the two new filter elements into the base of the purifier making sure the outer sides of the filters are facing outwards. Replace the purifier base and rotate the lock cover to closed.
Turn the purifier upright. Plugin the air purifier and follow the Filter life timer reset instructions (See Page 8).

1| The air purifier will not turn on or respond to the on/off button control| Plug the air purifier into the power adaptor and make sure the outlet switch is on (if applicable)
Plug the air purifier power adaptor into a different electrical outlet
2| Airflow is significantly reduced| Make sure the filters are both removed from their packaging (see page 11)
Press the on/off button to increase fan speed
Filters may be blocked, replace air filters
3| Air Purifier makes unusual noise while the fan is on| Make sure the air purifier is operated on a hard-flat even and dry surface
Filters may be blocked, replace air filters
The air purifier may be damaged. Contact Amazon seller’s customer support
4| A strange smell coming out of the purifier| Do not use it in a damp or wet environment, the air filter may be damp — replace filters and move the air purifier unit to a dry area
The carbon part of the filters may be exhausted, replace air filters
5| Poor air purification quality| Press the on/off button to increase fan speed
Close doors and windows while using the air purifier
Make sure the air filters are removed from its packaging (see page 11)

Warranty

KOVACS warrants to the customer that its residential air purifiers will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 1 year. We will replace or repair any part of the ROVACS air purifier that we find to be defective in operation due to faulty materials or workmanship within one year from the date of the original purchase. Used replaceable filter cartridges are excluded.

General Conditions

KOVACS’s obligation to the customer under these warranties shall be limited, at its option, to the replacement or repair of items covered by these warranties. Prior to the return or repair of covered items, the customer must obtain a return goods authorization number from ROVACS and, at the ROVACS option, return the item with freight prepaid by the customer.

Damage to any part of this system because of misuse, misappli­cation, negligence, alteration, accident, installation, or operation contrary to our instructions, this warranty does not cover incom­patibility with accessories not installed by ROVACS, or damage caused by freezing, flood, fire, or Acts of God. In all such cases, regular charges will apply. This limited warranty does not include service to diagnose a claimed malfunction in this unit. This warranty is void if the claimer is not the original purchaser of the unit or if the unit is not operated under normal operating conditions. We assume no warranty liability in connection with this system other than that specified herein. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. KOVACS liability hereunder shall not exceed the cost of the product. Under no circumstances will ROVACS be liable for any incidental or consequential damages or for any other loss, damage, or expense of any kind, including loss of use, arising in connection with the installation or use or inability to use the covered items. These warranties are governed by the laws of the state of Washington, USA, and may change at any time without notice.
