Safety instructions
  • Use the product only for the intended purpose.
  • Donot operate the product outside the power limits given in the specifications.
  • Protect the product from dirt, moisture, and overheating and use it in dry environments only.
  • Donot use the product in a damp environment and avoid splashing water.
  • Donot continue to operate the product if it is visibly damaged.
  • Donot bend or crush the cable.
  • Donot drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
  • Always pull directly on the plug when disconnecting the cable, never on the cable itself.

Risk of electric shock

  • Donot open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
  • Donot use the product if the AC adapter, the adapter cable, or the mains cable are damaged.
  • Donot attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.

Warning

  • Only operate the product from an approved socket that is connected to the public power supply. The socket must be installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
  • Disconnect the product from the power supply using the On/Off switch –if this is not available, unplug the power cord from the socket.
  • If using a multi-socket power strip, make sure that the total power consumption of all connected devices does not exceed the power strip’s maximum throughput rating.
  • If you will not be using the product for a prolonged period, disconnect it from mains power.

Operation

Warning -connecting devices

  • Before connecting the device, check whether it can be adequately supplied with the charger’s current capacity.
  • Ensure that the total power of all connected devices does not exceed 34 W.
  • Note the instructions in your device’s operating manual.

Unless different instructions have been expressly given in the operating instructions for the devices you are charging, proceed as follows:

  • Connect your device using a •suitable USB cable to a free USB charging socket. The device to be charged should be switched off.
  • Connect the USB charging station to a properly installed and easily accessible mains socket.
  • Switch the USB charging station on with the On/ Off switch (LED lights up).
  • The charging process is displayed on your device.
  • Disconnect the device from the charger if you wish to interrupt the charging process or when the device is fully charged.
  • Then disconnect the charger from the line connection.

Note when connecting to possible devices
Before connecting a device, check whether it can be adequately supplied with the power supply unit’s current capacity.

  • The charger is suitable for mains voltages of 100 -240 Vand and therefore can be used worldwide. Please note that a country-specific adapter may be necessary.
  • You can find a selection of compatible Hama products at www.hama.com.

Care and maintenance

Note
Disconnect the device from the mains before cleaning and during prolonged periods of non-use.

  • Only clean this product using a lint-free, slightly damp cloth, and do not use any harsh cleaners.
  • Ensure that no water is able to enter the product.
