 **User Manual**

1. Turn OFF the water supply.

2. Relieve the system pressure by dispensing some water.

3. Place an absorbent cloth or towel under the cartridge to catch water that may spill.

4. Grasp the filter cartridge and rotate it a quarter-turn to the left. Gently pull down.

5. Unpack the replacement cartridge.
   Avoid touching the filter O-rings and filter opening as this may cause bacterial contamination of the cartridge. Remove its sanitary cap and write today’s date where shown on the label.

6. Moisten the O-rings with water.

7. Align the key tabs and insert the new cartridge upwards into the filter head.

8. Turn the cartridge to the right until the cartridge locks into place.

9. Turn the water ON and check for leaks.

10. Wipe up any spills and dispose of the spent filter cartridge and packaging thoughtfully

Zenith 91240NZ cartridge tested in 0.5 Micron system according to NSF/ANSI 42 & 53 for the reduction of substances listed below. The concentration of the indicated substances in water entering the system was reduced to a concentration less than or equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as specified in NSF/ANSI 42 & 53. The Zenith 91240NZ cartridge has been tested and certified under AS/NZS 3497 and the performance of this product has been verified and substantiated as the test data summarised below indicates. These substances may not be in your water.

Zenith Water Filter cartridges are not covered by standard Zenith warranty as filter life may vary according to water quality and rate of use.
Performance will vary based on local water conditions.
The substances reduced by this product are not necessarily in your water.
This product requires regular replacement to maintain proper operation. Varying chlorine, sediment, or organic substance levels may affect replacement frequency.
This product has to be installed according to local plumbing code on the cold- water line.
Do not allow exposure to temperatures below 35°F / 2°C.
Be sure to change the filter cartridge at least every 1500 gallons or annually, whichever occurs first; or when you detect a change in taste or odour, or a decrease in flow. 1500 gal is approximately equal to using 4 gal daily for one year.
Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected waters that may contain filterable cysts.

• Do not expose filters to the elements of nature. This product is designed for indoor use only.
• Do not install where exposed to direct sunlight or temperatures below 35°F / 2°C or greater than 100°F / 38°C. To protect from freezing, remove filter cartridge when temperatures are expected to drop below 39°F / 4°C.
