TERMINOLOGY

Burglary Protection
The OSI Mini Alarm System provides two modes of burglary protection:
Stay ARM:This mode protects the permieter only (Door/Window Sensors are the only sensors which are active), allowing you to freely move inside the premises. You would Arm the system as Stay Arm when you are staying at home or in most cases before you go to bed.
ARM: This mode protects the entire system (Both Door Sensors & Motion Sensors are Active). You would arm the system as ARM when you are leaving the house and nobody is home. Both modes provide an entry delay time which allows you to re-enter the premises without setting off an alarm.

Zone
Your OSI Mini Alarm Sensors have been assigned to various “zones’: For example, the Door/Window sensor on your entry/exit door may have been assigned to zone 01, and the Diir/Window sensor on the windows in the master bedroom to zone 02, and so on. These numbers appear on the display in your notifications when the alarm or trouble condition occurs.

Exit/Entry Delays
The OSI Mini Alarm has been programmed with delay times that allow you to exit the premises after arming, and to disarm the system upon entry, before an alarm occures. If you leave the premises too late when exiting, or disarm too late when arriving home, it will cause a false alarm. If an alarm occurs, you should disarm the system immediately

Alarms
When an alarm occurs, the built-in siren will sound until the system is disarmed or the until the siren timeout occures, and push notification sent to the Smart Life app on your smartphone/tablet displaying the triggered sensor. To stop the alarm siren, you simply disarm the system using either the included remotes, Smart Life app or Voice Control through Amazon Alexa or Google Home.
