sygonix 2361759 Wi-Fi Water Detector
Intended use
This product is a Wi-Fi-enabled water sensor that can be used to detect flooding. When the sensor detects water, an alert will sound and a push notification will be sent to your mobile device via an app. The sensor and cable can be submerged in water but the main unit must not get wet! If you use the product for purposes other than described above, it may be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as an electric shock, short circuit, fire, etc. Read the operating instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Pass on the product to third parties only along with the product documentation. This product complies with statutory national and European regulations. b)Mounting -
When drilling/screwing, make sure there are no cables, wires, or pipes located underneath the surface.

Inadvertently puncturing electric cables can cause life-threatening electric shock!

Insert batteries
- Slide the cover off as shown.
- Insert 2x 1.5 V AAA batteries matching polarity as shown inside.
- Slide the cover to close. When the product is connected to the app, the battery status will show on the app interface

Compatible AndroidTM and iOS apps are available from their respective app
stores. Search: “Smart Life – Smart Living”.
Note
- This device is only compatible with 2.4 GHz networks.
- Enter the exact Wi-Fi name (case sensitive).
- Have the password for your Wi-Fi router ready.
- Connect the mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network the product will connect to.
- If you are giving the product to a third party you did not “Share Device” with, you must first “Remove Device” from the settings menu.
Conrad Connect
Pairing with application
- “Add Manually” → “Sensors” → “Sensor (Wi-Fi)”.
- Enter “Wi-Fi Name” and “Password” → “Next”.
- Select a pairing method: – “EZ Mode” – “AP Mode”
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process
Compatible with IFTTT
- Install and launch the “IFTTT” app on your device.
- Search “Smart Life”
- Create an account and login.
- Create your own applet.
Mounting
Location
The sensor and cable can be submerged in water but the main unit must not get
wet!
Product
- Remove the 2x small circular speaker cutouts from the adhesive tape.
- Remove one side of the tape backing and apply it to the main unit cover.
- Remove the other side and adhere the product to the mounting surface.
Sensor
- Consider the water level of potential leaks when positioning the sensor.
- The probes should be the point of first contact.
- Drill a hole and use a screw to attach the sensor via the mounting hole
Operation
If water bridges the probe contacts, an alert will sound for 5 mins and a push notification will be sent to your mobile device.
Test the probe
Test the product is operating correctly by placing the probe tips against a
moistened cloth or palm of your hand.
Disable flood alert
Press the reset button to disable the alert sound.
Reset device
If the device is not functioning correctly or you cannot connect to Wi-Fi, you
may need to perform a reset:
- Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds.
- The device will enter pairing mode after reset.
- The product will be removed from the app and you will need to repeat the paring process
Maintenance and cleaning
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
- Clean the product with a dry, fiber-free cloth.
- If submerged in saltwater, rinse the cable and sensor with fresh water.
