SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions.
  2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are closely supervised and instructed concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  3. This appliance should not be used by children, and care should be taken when used near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with theappliance.

  6.  The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer for use with this model may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
  7. Blades are sharp; handle discs with care.
  8. Do not use over a stove or other heat source.
  9. Do not use outdoors.
  10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
  11. Do not let cord contact hot surfaces, including the stove.
  12. Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heatedoven.
  13. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before approaching, putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
  14. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged supply cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Supply cord replacement and repairs must be conducted by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Call the provided customer service number for information on examination, repair, or adjustment.
  15. Never slice/shred food by hand. Always use assembled cutter food grip with adapter.
  16. Operating time cannot exceed 3 minutes for any accessory or speed setting.

IMPORTANT

Electrical Shock Hazard: This appliance is provided with a polarized plug (one wide blade) to reduce the risk of electric shock. The plug fits only one way into a polarized outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the plug by modifying the plug in any way or by using an adapter. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, have an electrician replace the outlet. The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary, an approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the ratingof the appliance. Care must be taken to arrange the extens so that it will not be draped over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally trippe d over.
WATTAGE/PEAK POWER INFORMATION
The marked rating of this spiralizer is determined by Underwriters Laboratories as the maximum stabilized power consumption of the spiralizer at high speed under a loaded condition. Peak power is an average of the maximum wattage a Spiralizer may consume during initial operation at high speed.

THE USE

Parts and features

BEFORE FIRST USE: Wash all parts except the motor body and cutter adapter. See “How to Clean and Store the Spiralizer” instructions.TReBS -99337 -Electric-

A stainless stick is a part of the spiralizer so you can use this as a stick blender. (Fig. 1)

  • Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
  • Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
  • Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50/60Hz)
  • Never use the mixer for longer than 1 minute continuously, after this allow the mixer to cool down for 5 minutes.
  • The blades of the slicing and chopping disk and the blade chopping are very sharp, avoid physical contact, you can seriously injure.

How to assemble the spiralizer

CAUTION

  • Blades are sharp, so handle discs with care.
  • Inspect the parts before use. Do not use if parts are cracked, bent ordamaged.
  • Do not place fingers or utensils into the discs while in use

2. Use the finger holes when handling discs. With the sharp side of disc up, place the selected disc onto the position of indication

3. Attach the food chamber to gear the body part. Rotate the gear body until it locks into the food chamber into the right place

6.Put the small food pushing rod into the food pushing rod in order to press the foods firmly

How to prepare food for spiralizing

Choose appropriate foods for spiralizing. Foods should be firm with no hard seeds or pits. See underneath chart for recommended foods

How to spiralize

  1. Plug into outlet
  2. Place a single piece of food and push into the food pushing rod. Only one piece of food at a me.
  3. Grasp the motor body with one hand and rest the other hand on the small food pushing rod. Use the switch to select the desired speed. Push and hold the speed switch to the start processing food.TReBS -99337 -Electric- Spiralizer- and -Stick -Blender -8
  4. Apply the light, constant pressure to the food pushing rod while processing food
  5. Check the disc before spiralizing more food. If pulp is caught in the disc, clean with a vegetable brush and rinse.
  6. Unplug.

How to assemble and use the stick blender

  1. Blending fluids, e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices, soups, mixed drinks and shakes.
  2. Mixing soft ingredients, e.g. pancake batter or mayonnaise.
  3. Pureeing cooked ingredients, e.g. for making baby food.
  4. Put the S/S stick on the base until it clicks.
  5.  Immerse the blade guard completely in the ingredients to avoid splashing.
  6. Press and hold the normal or turbo speed button to switch on the appliance. When using the normal speed button, you can adjust the speed with the speed controller. The higher the speed, the shorter the processing time required.
  7. When you use the turbo speed button, the appliance operates at maximum speed. In this case, you can’t adjust the speed with the speed controller.
  8. Blend the ingredients by moving the appliance slowly up and down and in circles.
  9. Press the release buttons to disconnect the base of the S/S stick.

How to clean and store the spiralizer

2. To remove the motor body, hold the unit upright and press the two release with pulling out until assambly disconnects.

5. Wipe the motor body and gear body with a damp cloth. Never place in water or rinse under running water or other liquid

3. Disassemble the spiralizer by removing the motor body and gear body from the food chamber.| 6. Wash the food pushing rod, food chamber and discs in soapy water. Prevent injury from blades in discs. Never place the discs in sink or soapy water where they are not visible.

STORAGE NOTICE
Assemble the spiralizer with the spiral discs to prevent damage to the discs. Store them in a safety place. Wrap the cord and secure with a cord storage clip on the cord set.

How to clean and store the stick blender

  1. Always remove the plug from the socket when the device will be cleaned.
  2. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.
  3. Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher proof.
  4. The components are not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher. If exposed to heat or caustic cleaners they might become misshapen or discoloured.

DISPOSAL OF THE OLD DEVICE

Old electric and electronic devices frequently still contain valuable materials. However, they also contain damaging substances, which were necessary for their functionality and safety. If these were put in the non- recyclable waste or were handled incorrectly, they could be detrimental to human health and the environment. Therefore, do not put your old device into the non-recyclable waste under any circumstances.

  • Utilize the collection point, established in your town, to return and recycle old electric and electronic devices. If necessary, contact your town hall, local refuse collection service or your dealer for information.
  • Ensure that your old device is stored safely away from children until it is takenaway.

  • Your legal guarantee entitlements in accordance with § 439 ff. BGB-E remain unaffected by this. Consumables, transit damages, inasmuch as we are not responsible for these, as well as damages, which were incurred as a result of any repairs that were not performed by us, are also excluded from the guarantee entitlements.
  • This device is designed for use in domestic situations and has the appropriate performance levels.
  • Any use in commercial situations is only covered under the guarantee to the extent that it would be comparable with the stresses of being used in a domestic situation. It is not intended for any additional, commercial use.
  • In the event of justified complaints, we will repair the faulty device at our discretion or replace it with a trouble-free device.

TIP: Prepare large fruits and vegetables by cutting them into the shape of the chute: preferably round (cylinder shaped) and with a thickness of 2.5 to 6 cm. Carrot tagliatelle (FOR 4 PERSONS)

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp coriander
  • 1 cm fresh ginger
  • 1 lemongrass stalk
  • 1 tbsp red curry
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp chili sauce
  • 4 carrots: yellow and orange
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 400 g chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  •  250 g flat rice noodles

PREPARATION

  1. Mix or chop the coriander, ginger and lemongrass and combine with the curry, soy sauce and chili sauce into a paste.
  2. Peel the carrots and use the My Vegetable to turn them into strings.
  3. Roast the sesame seeds in a dry pan.
  4. Cut the chicken breast into strips.
  5. Fry the herb paste with 2 tbsp coconut oil in a wok for 1 min. Add some water ifnecessary.
  6. Add the chicken and let it cook.
  7.  After 5 to 8 min. add the carrots and fry for another 3 min.
  8. Cook the rice noodles until done.
  9. Mix the vegetables, chicken and sauce well and flavour with some extra soy sauce and chili sauce.
  10. Serve with coriander and sesame seeds. Vegetable noodle wraps (FOR 4 WRAPS)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and cored
  • 4 tbsp curry powder
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 4 wraps
  • 6 to 8 Cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 4 tsp sesame seeds
  • a little alfalfa or sprouts

PREPARATION

  1. Roast the sesame seeds in a dry pan and let them cool down.
  2. Cut the cucumber and carrot into strings.
  3. Place the avocado together with the curry and salt into a bowl and mash into apaste.
  4. Spread the avocado mixture over the wraps.
  5. Divide the cucumber, carrot and tomato parts over the wraps.
  6. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and sprouts and then roll up the wraps.
Courgetti with spinach (FOR 4 PERSONS)

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tbsp almond flakes
  • 2 tsp roasted sesame seeds
  • 2 small courgettes
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 spring onions, cut into slices
  • 1 chili pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • 2 bunches of spinach
  • 4 tbsp tamari (= gluten-free soy sauce)
Healthy salad ( FOR 4 PERSONS)

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 g mixed roasted nuts (pumpkin seeds, pine nuts, sesame seeds)

  • 2 apples

  • 2 Chioggia beets

  • 2 red beets

  • 2 yellow beets

  • 100 g arugula

  • 50 g manchego cheese
    FOR THE DRESSING

  • 60 ml olive oil

  •  2 tbsp white rice vinegar

  • fresh herbs: a bunch of basil, a few twigs of tarragon, a bunch ofparsley

  • 1/2 tsp mustard

  • 1/2 clove of garlic

  • salt and pepper

PREPARATION

  1. Roast the nuts in a dry pan.
  2. Cut the apple and beets into strings.
  3. Keep them separated and set aside.
  4. Prepare the dressing: put all ingredients in a blender and flavour with salt andpepper.
  5.  Arrange the arugula on plates, and then make layers of red beets topped with the Chioggia, yellow and white beets.
  6. Drip some dressing over and around the tower and arrange the cheese slices and roasted nuts on top.
Salad with balsamic cream and figs (FOR 4 PERSONS)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cucumber
  • 50 g hazelnuts
  • 30 g basil leafs
  • 40 g water cress leafs
  • several leafs of radicchio
  • several leafs of oak leaf lettuce
  • 6 figs (fresh or dried)

FOR THE DRESSING

  • 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • salt and pepper
  • balsamic cream

PREPARATION

  1. Cut 1 cucumber into strings and set aside.
  2. Roaster the hazelnuts in a dry pan and then chop them into coarse pieces.
  3. Prepare the dressing: whisk the olive oil, vinegar, cinnamon, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
  4. Put the coarsely cut basil, watercress, radicchio and lettuce leafs in a bowl and mix with the dressing.
  5. Arrange the lettuce on plates and put the cucumber strings ontop.
  6. Cut the figs lengthwise into 4 or 6 parts and divide them over the plates.
  7. Directly before serving, pour the balsamic cream over the salad and serve with the chopped hazelnuts.
