Two-Person Lightweight Revolution 2P Tent

Warning
Silicone coated fabric that we use is very popular for lightweight products, but it will burn so keep it away from heat or open flame.
We have enclosed a fabric swatch for a test burn… after burning a fabric swatch you need to decide to either to accept the risk of using the product with this fabric or return the unused product for a full refund.

 Setup instructions:

  1. If the tent inner is not attached:
First, attach either a tent inner or the “X-cord” to the tent outer. The tent outer has color-coded aluminum fittings that match the tent’s inner or “X-cord”, i.e. red to red:
    a. To attach a tent inner 1) clip the “red” S-hook to the “red” aluminum fitting at the narrow end. 2) clip the “black” S- hook to the “black” aluminum fitting at the wide end, 3) connect the top toggle with “reflective” webbing to the ring with “reflective” webbing, and 4) connect the retaining ring and toggles between these.
    b. To attach the “X-cord” 1) clip the “red” hook to the “red” aluminum fitting at the narrow end, 2) clip the “black” S-hook to the “black” aluminum fitting at the wide end.
If the tent inner is attached, proceed to step 2.

  2. Clear the ground of any sharp objects that will damage the tent floor. Lay out the tent outer. (Option: stake/peg the corners, staking/pegging diagonally works best rather than staking/pegging one end then staking/pegging the other end – staking/pegging the tent outer down first before attaching the poles is recommended in windy conditions.)

  3. Pole clips option:
    a. “Hoop” each pole and insert ends into aluminum fittings on each corner
    b. Attach the pole clips with REFLECTIVE webbing where the poles cross, do this BEFORE attaching the other pole clips… then attach each pole clip to the poles.

  4.  Porch tent outer option – Insert each end of the Porch/3rd pole in the aluminum fittings on the outside of the Porch tent outer… then attach pole clips to Porch/3rd pole.
TIP: Leave tent outer and tent inner attached for quick setup and take down

  5. Staking/pegging the tent – one stake/peg on each vestibule, one stake/peg for each tent corner, one stake/peg for the head end, and one stake/peg for the foot end. In windy conditions, a person may want to use the four or six optional reflective guy lines. We suggest staking/pegging the guy lines at 45-degree angles to the tent. See guy line diagram below.

Packing instructions:

  1.  Reverse the above instructions
  2. We suggest rolling rather than stuffing. It results in a smaller volume. We also suggest rolling the poles and stakes/pegs up in the tent or carrying them separately.

Caution: Trying to “stuff” the poles and/or the stake/pegs may result in tearing the mesh or tent.

Notes:
– Make sure the pole joints are fully seated, especially on the lightweight DuraLite™ composite or carbon fiber poles to prevent the joints from splitting.
– Please carefully to turn the tent upside down to shake out the dirt, and excess stress on the lightweight DuraLite™ composite or carbon fiber poles can cause them to fail.
– If your tent has pole sleeves, we suggest that the poles are “pushed” into the pole sleeves, and “pushed” out of the pole sleeve. Pulling the poles will probably pull the pole sections apart, making it harder to remove the poles from the pole sleeves.
– We suggest taking the poles apart at the center pole joint section first, then folding the pole in half, and next taking apart and folding the remaining sections. (This creates a more uniform tension on the shock cord.)
