I. Connection to the mobile phone
1. Insert SIM card
- Make sure that SIM card connects to the Internet, receives text messages
and supports voice calls.
ELARI KidPhone 2 supports 2G, so carrier should support GSM 900/1800. Before inserting SIM card into the watch turn off PIN-code request (if necessary) on a SIM card with your phone.
2)Turn off the device before inserting SIM card. Hold the SIM card upside down, put it clipped side first and insert until it clicks.
Turn on the device after inserting the SIM card or restart if it was turned on before.
2. Register
Find and install ELARI SafeFamily (free) in Google Play or App Store. Or just scan the QR code for the Google Play or App Store link.
Register Step
- Open the ELARI SafeFamily app and click “Register”.
- Input nickname and your email address.
- Get registration code from email and input this code.
- Input your mobile phone number.
- Create password and repeat it.
3. Binding
- Start binding.
- Scan the QR code on the back of the user guide or input binding code manually.
- Fill User’s profile: add personal data: nickname, image and SIM card phone number etc.
- Binding complete: display real-time location after binding is finished.
Binding code
Press top key or bottom key or slide in touch menu to choose”Binding code”,
then you can scan the QR code with ELARI SafeFamily app to bind the watch to
your smartphone.
II. Warnings
- Do not throw the device into water.
- Keep away from the fire and high temperature.
- Do not allow children to put the watch in their mouth.
- Use only the provided USB cable to charge the watch.
- The watch won’t work if powered off or out of service.
- Charger output must be: 5 V, 1 A
III. Storage and transportation
The device should be stored in dry, ventilated storage spaces with the
temperature ranging from -10°C to +40°C and humidity from 15 to 85 % (without
condensation). Whilst storing and transporting, the handling markings printed
on the box should be followed. Whilst transporting any hits and movement of
the package in the transporting vehicle should be avoided.
IV. Rules of disposal
After the end of its lifetime, the device should be utilized according to
norms, rules and ways that are established in the place of utilization. The
accurate information regarding utilization can be found from the appropriate
government sources, according to the country of your residence Manufacturer
and authorized person of the manufacturer relieve themselves of responsibility
from the possible harm caused by the incorrect usage of the device or not
following the operating rules, setting up the device, intentional or careless
actions, as well as any events related to weather or man-made force majeure
circumstances.

Distributor warrants that during the Warranty Period the Distributor or
Distributor’s Authorized Service Center (hereinafter Service Center) will, at
its sole discretion, remedy the defects in materials or workmanship free of
charge by: a) repairing or b) replacing or c) refunding, subject to the terms
and conditions of this Limited Warranty.This Limited Warranty is only valid
and enforceable in the country of purchase, unless local law stipulates
otherwise.
Warranty Period
The Limited Warranty Period starts at the date of original retail purchase
of the product.The Warranty Period is designated according to the Consumer
Rights Legislation of the Distributor’s country/ territory, unless otherwise
specified.The Warranty Period for accessories (including but not limited to
wireless sensors and transmitted, chargers, cables, rechargeable batteries
straps, bracelets and hoses) is also designated according to the Consumer
Rights Legislation of the Distributor’s country/territory, unless otherwise
specified.
Exclusions and Limitations
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- a) normal wear and tear such as scratches, abrasions of the color and/or material of non-metallic straps, b) defects caused by rough handling, c) defects or damage resulting from use contrary to intended or recommended use, improper care, negligence, and accidents such as dropping or crushing;
- Printed materials and packaging;
- Defects or alleged defects caused by use with any product, accessory, software and/or service not manufactured or supplied by Distributor;
- Non-rechargeable batteries.
Distributor does not warrant that the operation of the Product or accessory
will be uninterrupted or error free, or that the Product or accessory will
work with any hardware or software provided by a third party.
This Limited Warranty is not enforceable if the Product or accessory:
- Has been opened beyond intended use;
- Has been repaired using unauthorized spare parts; modified or repaired by unauthorized Service Center;
- Has been exposed to the effects of chemical elements;
- Serial number/IMEI number has been removed, altered or made illegible in any way, as determined at the sole discretion of Distributor;

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable mandatory laws, this Limited
Warranty is your sole and exclusive remedy and is lieu of all other
warranties, expressed or implied. Distributor shall not be liable for special
incidental, punitive or consequential damages, in eluding but not limited to
loss of anticipated benefits, loss of data, loss of use, cost of capital, cost
of any substitute equipment or facilities, claims of third parties, damage to
property resulting from the purchase or use of the item or arising from breach
of the warranty breach of contract, negligence, strict tor, or any legal or
equitable theory, even if Distributor knew of the likelihood of such damages.
Distributor shall not be liable for delay in rendering warranty service.

SIM card, stored data, distributor is not to be held responsible for
ensuring that the SIM card is removed from any returned products and for
saving any stored data, for either in guarantee and out of guarantee products.
